摘要： A linear lighting system and apparatus configured for easy and efficient installation and to reduce unattractive shadows, gaps, or light leaks is provided. In certain embodiments, the linear lighting system comprises a plurality of lighting assemblies joined contiguously together with a draw latch assembly and each of the lighting assemblies comprising a housing, a light source, and a power source. More specifically, the draw latch assembly comprises a draw latch and a latch keeper which, when engaged, removably secures a first lighting assembly to a second lighting assembly. In use, there may be more than two lighting assemblies which may be removably secured to one another in this manner in a variety of configurations.

摘要： A bat is provided including a handle portion, a barrel portion and a core member. The barrel portion has an interior cavity with an interior surface. The core member is disposed in the interior cavity of the barrel portion. The core member has an exterior surface engaged with the interior surface of the barrel portion. The handle portion extends into the interior cavity of the barrel portion and is coupled to the core member. The coupling of the core member to the handle allows the impact of the barrel portion on a ball to be transmitted to the user through the core member and the handle portion. The bat may thereby provide the user with an increased sense of the quality of the contact with the ball.

In order to remedy this problem, a moistening device is provided that applies on the printing substrate a moistening agent made from a moistening fluid and a lubricant dissolved therein. Two problems are thus solved: the printing substrate is moistened and simultaneously lubricated.

Preferably, the carrier elements are made of a porous metal foam, and the inlet and outlet for the heat transfer medium are located together at a bottom area at one side of the accumulator.

The method involves the steps of selecting a patient population, deriving pre-treatment score and post-treatment scores for each patient based on their questionnaire responses to quality of life-related criteria, deriving an adjusted score by subtracting the pre-treatment score from the post-treatment score, and analyzing the distribution of patients having each adjusted score to provide a measure of the effectiveness of the surgical or medical treatment. The population of patients may includes patients having different values of a variable affecting the effectiveness of the surgical treatment. The effect of these variables on the adjusted scores may be analyzed by a computerized statistical software program.
