摘要： An organic opto-electric device is disclosed comprising an opto-electric element and a protective enclosure for protecting the opto-electric element against atmospheric substances. The protective enclosure comprises a multi-layered protective layer in which a first inorganic layer, a first organic layer comprising a getter, a second organic layer free from getter material and a second inorganic layer are stacked in the order named, wherein the first and the second inorganic layer encapsulate the first and the second organic layer. The getter is distributed in the first organic layer a nanometer sized particles and the second organic layer has a thickness of at least 10 μm.

摘要： A method and system for accurate timing in a low current system useful in fuzing applications generates a first count of oscillations of an oscillator of unknown frequency during a first period of unknown duration. A second count of oscillations of the oscillator is generated during a second period of a known duration. The duration of the first period is calculated based on the first count and the second count. A solid-state, thin-film battery is able to be used by virtue of low-current characteristics of the system, enabling extended shelf life for fuzing systems.

The apparatus comprises a first and a second chamber and an atmosphere decoupling slot between the first and the second chamber. A printing facility is arranged in the first chamber, for printing the flexible substrate with a mixture comprising at least one precursor for a polymer, oligomer or a polymer network and a polymerization initiator. A curing facility is arranged in the first chamber, for curing the deposited mixture, therewith forming the at least first organic layer. A vapor deposition facility is arranged in the second chamber, for depositing the at least first inorganic layer at the substrate provided with the at least first organic layer. The apparatus comprises a facility for guiding the flexible substrate along the printing facility, along the curing facility and via the atmosphere decoupling slot along the vapor deposition facility.

Ensuring that such data will not be lost when individual components or their parts are replaced in an engine, allows the use of life limited parts in turbine engines and improves their reliability. The information storage devices can be accessed to record maintenance or to record changes when repairs are done. They can also be attached to external circuitry for the purpose of analyzing, downloading or recording data remotely, allowing analysis of component operating, repair, and maintenance information.
