    • A method for manufacturing a precast shelter is provided. The method can include constructing an inner mold core, adding a base frame around a perimeter of the inner mold core, horizontally placing a plurality of steel rods on top of the inner mold core, connecting different ends of the horizontally placed steel rods to reinforcing bar segments of the base frame with vertically positioned steel rods, and placing an outer mold shell opposite the inner mold core so as to define a cavity. The method can further include pouring concrete into the cavity and on top of the cap over the horizontally placed steel rods, waiting for the poured concrete to partially cure, and removing the outer mold shell and the inner mold core subsequent to partially curing the poured concrete to produce a unibody precast shelter.

    • A boat lift apparatus is disclosed. The boat lift apparatus includes a base structure having a first frame section erected over a barrier juxtaposed to a first body of water, the base structure having a second frame section that may be cantilevered over the first body of water and a lift frame operatively coupled with the base structure. The boat lift apparatus further includes a cradle assembly including at least one boat support for receiving a boat and carrying the boat across the barrier, the cradle assembly being moveably coupled to the lift frame. The boat lift apparatus further includes at least one hydraulic cylinder secured to the lift frame and operatively connected to the cradle assembly, wherein activation of the at least one hydraulic cylinder moves the cradle assembly up or down in the vertical direction.

    • A watercraft transport lock includes a walled structure that can be filled and emptied of water received from two separate bodies of water for the purpose of transporting a boat or other watercraft between the two bodies of water. The system prevents the water of one body from mixing with the water of the other body. This is accomplished by removing the water of the first body of water from within the structure prior to filling the structure with the water from the other body. A boat support may be used to support the boat during the emptying and filling processes.

    • A protective shelter and methods for manufacturing are disclosed. The shelter is capable of protecting individuals from significant wind velocities and other catastrophic damages that occur from dangerous conditions such as hurricanes, tornadoes and the like. Prior to the pouring the floor slab of a home, the shelter is fixedly attached to a plurality of supports that have been fixedly attached to a portion of the foundation of the home. When the floor slab is poured, enough concrete is poured to cover the supports up to essentially the top edges of the channel frame base rails to form the base of the shelter, thus incorporating and anchoring the shelter into the foundation of the home.
