摘要： A medical simulator of procedures associated with punctures, for simulation and practical training in puncture interventions, the medical simulator comprising a phantom, an intervention device and a processing system in data communication with the phantom and the intervention device, wherein the phantom comprises at least one target structure arranged for the training of the intervention and means for detecting the intervention device, said detection means being in communication of data with the processing system. 摘要： Disclosed herein are embodiments of a compound that inhibits c-Abl tyrosine kinase (also referred to herein as “c-Abl”). The compound embodiments described herein are novel c-Abl inhibitors that can bind to c-Abl at an allosteric site and inhibit its activity in various pathways. The compound embodiments also are capable of crossing the blood brain barrier and therefore are useful in inhibiting c-Abl activity as it affects pathways and/or proteins in the brain. The compound embodiments described herein are effective therapeutic agents for treating diseases involving c-Abl, such as cancers, motor neuron diseases, and neurodegenerative diseases. Also disclosed herein are embodiments of methods for making and using the c-Abl inhibitory compound embodiments.

摘要： The invention provides identification methods of specific modulators of hemichannels formed by connexin through the use of structural bioinformation methods for the calculation of the interaction energy with ligands and compositions to selectively modulate the activity of hemichannels formed by connexins.Among other aspects, the invention describes a computer-aided method, where estimating the interaction energy between ligands coming from a database of chemical compounds is possible, with a binding pocket defined by the region comprising the residues of 3-10 (NTH), 29-40 (TM1), 74-93 (TM2) of a protomer and residues 29-40 (TM1) of an adjacent protomer in connexin 26 or the equivalent residues in other connexins.In particular, the invention provides compounds specifically inhibiting the activation/opening of connexin hemichannels identified through the method described above, which can be useful for the treatment of inflammatory diseases, vascular disorders, arrhythmias, chronic injuries, retinal neuroprotection, treatment of pain, skeletal muscle denervation, muscular dystrophies, damage to the spinal cord and genetic diseases characterized by the increased activity of hemichannels formed by connexins.

摘要： A prosthetic device can be implanted in the corpora cavernosa of a penis with erectile dysfunction. The device being formed by two cylinders that can be inflated with a fluid. The device comprises a variable-length erectable portion formed by a chamber that can be pressurized with a low volume of fluid and is formed between an expandable membrane and an axially extendable and foldable longitudinal rib. The membrane and rib extend between a distal tip element and an intermediate connector from which a shortenable anchoring rod emerges, the rib being a single piece formed by a variable-length distal section, an intermediate section that is foldable and extendable in an axial direction, and a proximal section comprising optimized means for the continuous lateral supply of the fluid to the pressurisable chamber. The device also has an integrated unit for storing and pressurizing the fluid, which can be implanted in the scrotum.
