    • An electronic reset circuit is provided for a fluid dispenser of the type including a fluid pump and a meter, wherein upon deactivation of the fluid pump, the meter must be reset in order to reactivate the pump and a resetting device normally actuatable for accomplishing meter resetting. The electronic reset circuit comprises a reset control switch actuatable only by a fluid dispenser attendant and an electronic circuit coupled with the resetting device and with the reset control switch for preventing resetting of the meter in response to normal actuation of the resetting device until actuation of the reset control switch by the attendant.

    • An improvement in an acoustic flowmeter of the type utilizing a pair of longitudinally spaced transceivers mounted to a fluid-carrying conduit and an oscillator feeding predetermined alternating signals to the transceivers. The improvement lies in a novel monitoring circuit which comprises a phase responsive circuit for producing signals corresponding substantially only to the phase difference between the signals produced by the respective transceivers for developing an output signal which corresponds in a predetermined fashion to the rate of fluid flow through the conduit.

    • There is disclosed a new and improved device which facilitates the tuning of musical instruments to a standard frequency with speed and accuracy. The device includes an indicating means comprising a plurality of light emitting diodes. The cathode of each diode is coupled to a saturated audio amplifier which is adapted to be coupled either directly to or by a microphone to a musical instrument to be tuned. The anodes of the diodes are coupled to an oscilator which provides any one of a plurality of selectable output frequencies which are harmonically related to a corresponding plurality of standard frequencies. The number of diodes, and the relation between the harmonic oscilator output frequency to the standard frequencies are such that when the instrument is in tune, one half of the diodes appear to be continuously and simultaneously lit. If the instrument is high or low in pitch relative to the selective standard frequency, the diode display will appear to move in first or second respective directions to thereby provide an easily discernable indication as to how the instrument must be adjusted to be brought into tune.
