摘要： A beverage container cover for preventing the introduction of any contaminants into a beverage container. The beverage container cover includes a sealing layer including a top side and a bottom side, a straw extending on either side of the sealing layer and able to prevent a contaminant from passing therethrough and an adhesive substance extending about a periphery of the bottom side of the sealing layer for forming a seal with a rim of the container. A lip extends about a periphery of the top side for engaging the rim of the container and strengthening the seal therebetween. The cover further includes a first protective layer removably connected to the top side and covering a top portion of the straw and a second protective layer removably connected to the bottom side and covering the bottom side, a bottom portion of the straw and the adhesive substance. The straw may be extended whereby it extends to a base of the container.

摘要： The present invention 10 discloses a safety stand for a tree 18 having a main housing body 20 and attached thereto a secondary housing body 32. The main housing 20 is elliptically shaped having situated thereon illumination lights 26, LED lights 36 along with transparent picture sleeves 38. Also attached thereto is a mounting collar 28 with threaded screws 30 for receiving and holding a tree trunk along having an electrical outlet 34 disposed thereon. The main housing 20 also contains a CD player 24 along with a water reservoir 62 for watering the tree. Also contained on the main housing 20 is an extinguisher system having flame sensors 76 attached thereto in the form of decorative ornamental bulbs 12 placed throughout the tree. Vent holes 70 are provided in the bulbs 12 through which air can pass in the form of smoke so as to activate the sensors 76 and thereby having a bulb transmitter 78 send a signal to a means for an alarm 46 disposed in the main housing body. Extinguishing conduits 40 run around the outside of the main housing 20 having retardant outlets 42 disposed thereon through which retardant is released from a pressurized fire retardant compartment 60. The secondary housing body 32 contains a tree rotation system comprising a motor 50 and bevel gears 48, 52 along with a mounting collar 28. An alternative embodiment is disclosed wherein an artificial tree is held by a central rotating shaft 86 and a central conduit 88 for fire retardant is contained therein so that the sensor when activated will disperse retardant over and about the artificial tree. Another embodiment discloses a bulb 12 having fire retardant outlets 80 and a supply of retardant 84 disposed therein which bulb rotates and directly sprays retardant about.

摘要： An avalanche and hypothermia protective system for detecting emergency situations and instances when a user is severely compromised by adverse atmospheric and climactic extremes, e.g. entombment by an avalanche or high altitude mountaineering, and providing relief for the detected emergency situation. The system includes a sensor housing to be worn on the head of the user including sensors for sensing certain conditions and generating a signal indicative of the conditions sensed. A backpack including a microprocessor therein is connected to the sensors for analyzing the generated signal to determine if an emergency situation exists. A device for relieving the emergency condition is connected to the microprocessor for providing relief to the user upon detection of an emergency condition and to provide support for preexisting conditions such as cold induced asthma. The sensors may sense at least one of skin temperature of the user, respiratory rate of the user, an amount of oxygen in the atmosphere surrounding the user, snow weight impacting on the user and noise level. The backpack may store an oxygen supply tank and a chemical heat pack for use in automatically relieving the detected emergencies. The system also includes a signal transmitter for transmitting a distress signal upon detection of an emergency condition or upon manual activation by the user. A supply of drinking fluids may also be stored within the backpack for providing liquid refreshment to the user when desired.

An adhesive strip may also be positioned on an underside of the base pad for securing the absorbent pad to the undergarment of the user.

A retaining device is also provided adjacent the work area for retaining a tool or supply necessary for the user in an easily accessible location. Alternatively, an alternate workpiece such as a paint tray may be releasably connected at the position of the toolbox.

摘要： A female security device placed within a vaginal cavity to protect and minimize physical damage caused by physical sexual intercourse. The female security device includes a cylindrical housing including a first open end and a second closed end. The second closed end is inserted deeper within the vaginal cavity than the first open end and an inner surface of the cylindrical housing is able to absorb any fluid dispensed therein. Pressure sensors are positioned therearound for sensing contractions in walls of the vaginal cavity and a pressure sensor is positioned therein for sensing pressure caused by insertion of an object into the cylindrical cavity. A needle is positioned to extend into the cylindrical cavity for contacting the object inserted therein and retaining a tissue sample of the object. A microcomputer is connected to the external and internal sensors for determining when an object has been inserted therein and a reservoir is connected for releasing an identification dye to discolor the object upon making such a determination. Furthermore, the needle is able to inject a tissue irritant into the object upon contact therewith and thus cause an irritation to form. An auditory recorder may also be connected to the microcomputer and activated upon a determination that an object has been inserted therein for recording all sounds occurring during the sexual intercourse and a vibrating ring may be activated at that time to notify the user that the device has been activated.
