摘要： The present invention relates to novel compositions comprising (a) anionic block copolymers of mono alkenyl arenes and conjugated dienes where one of the blocks is a controlled distribution copolymer of a conjugated diene and mono alkenyl arene having a specific arrangement of the monomers in the copolymer block, and (b) tailored softening modifiers have a particular structure that results in a surprising improvement in properties for the composition. Also included are processes for the manufacturing such novel compositions and various end-uses and applications for such compositions.

摘要： The invention relates to unique applications for the novel high melt flow, low viscosity, selectively hydrogenated styrene-butadiene-styrene (hSBS) or selectively hydrogenated controlled distribution styrene-butadiene/styrene-styrene (hSBSS) block copolymers, wherein the melt flow rate of said block copolymer is at least 100 g/10 min at 230° C. under 2.16 kg mass according to ASTM D1238. These block copolymers are novel and have the highest melt flow rate of any styrenic block copolymer also possessing high strength and elasticity. It has applications that prior to the present invention were not normally possible due to the normal low melt flow rate of styrenic block copolymers. The present invention also encompasses various fields of use such as a fiberglass hSBS or hSBSS reinforced mat, low viscosity hSBS or hSBSS coatings for industrial uses, hot melt adhesives prepared from hSBS or hSBSS blended with polyalpha-olefins, and elastic film, fiber, and nonwoven constructions using hSBS or hSBSS.

摘要： The present invention provides a gene related to cancer cell immortalization (an immortalization determining gene) and a process that is useful for selective cancer treatment targeting a cancer cell having the gene. The present invention determines an immortalized cancer cell using a polynucleotide having a base sequence of at least 15 bases that specifically hybridizes with a continuous base sequence of at least 15 bases within any one of abase sequences represented by SEQ ID Nos. 1 to 13. In the foregoing process, the polynucleotide is used as a primer or probe for detecting an immortalization determining gene that exhibits high expression specifically in an immortalized cancer cell.

摘要： The present invention is a unique polypropylene copolymer resin composition which comprises a propylene-ethylene copolymer having a melt flow rate of at least 50 g/10 min and an impact modifier which comprises a thermoplastic elastomer of a hydrogenated triblock copolymer which has a specific structure in which a block of a tapered increment of an vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon portion is arranged after the isoprene homopolymer block. Accordingly, the present invention provides a polypropylene resin composition comprising(a) 55 to 87% by weight of a propylene-ethylene block copolymer having a melt flow rate of at least 50 g/10 minutes; and(b) 3 to 20% by weight of an impact modifier which is comprised of at least 50% by weight of a hydrogenated block copolymer having a number average molecular weight between 50,000 and 150,000 and containing 15 to 25% by weight of an vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon, obtained by hydrogenating a triblock copolymer having the structure A-B-(A/B) wherein A is a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon homopolymer, B is an isoprene homopolymer, and (A/B) is a block of a tapered isoprene-vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon copolymer, and the balance an olefinic rubber; and(c) 10 to 25% by weight of talc.
