摘要： The present invention is directed to methods of treating a subject, wherein a biological sample taken from the subject comprises an antibody against a small protein encoded by an intermediate stage transcript of HHV-6 (SITH-1), and the antibody against SITH-1 being present in an amount sufficient to be detected in the biological sample which is at least diluted 10-fold or more by an immunological detection method. Such treatment methods are used for the following: a) treating or preventing mood disorders; b) suppressing an elevation of the level of SITH-1 within cells in the subject's brain, reducing the number of cells in the brain that carry the protein SITH-1, and/or reducing the total amount of SITH-1 in the brain; c) suppressing an elevation of the level of a calcium modulating cyclophilin ligand (CAML) protein within cells in the subject's brain; or d) suppressing an elevation of the level of calcium ions within cells in the subject's brain. Methods of the present invention can involve administering a human herpesvirus 6 suppressor to a subject.

摘要： An electric brake device includes a first slave piston which is housed in a cylinder body and generates hydraulic pressure in a first hydraulic chamber by moving forward, a motor which transmits a driving force to the first slave piston, and a restriction pin which is inserted and secured to the cylinder body in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the cylinder body and restricts a backward position of the first slave piston when a hydraulic pressure is applied from an outside to the first hydraulic chamber, wherein the restriction pin is inserted and secured to the cylinder mechanism in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the cylinder main body. Further, a clearance is formed between an inner peripheral wall of the cylinder body and a first groove portion and second groove portion which are formed on an outer surface of the restriction pin.

摘要： To provide a lithium secondary battery which has high capacity while maintaining excellent cycle characteristic. The lithium secondary battery cathode of the present invention includes a cathode collector formed of a conductive substance, and a cathode active material layer formed of a sintered lithium composite oxide sheet. The cathode active material layer is bonded to the cathode collector by the mediation of a conductive bonding layer. A characteristic feature of the present invention resides in that the cathode active material layer has a thickness of 30 μm or more, a mean pore size of 0.1 to 5 μm, and a voidage of 3% or more and less than 15%.

摘要： This invention relates to a coating formulation, a coating formulation for manufacturing an electrode plate and an undercoating formulation, and their use. These coating formulations are all characterized by containing, in a polar solvent, a hydroxyl-containing resin and an organic acid and/or a derivative thereof. The hydroxyl-containing resin is at least one of (1) a polyvinyl acetal resin, (2) an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, (3) a modified and/or unmodified polyvinyl alcohol, and (4) a cyanoethyl-containing polymer. According to the present invention, there is provided a coating formulation capable of forming a coating of excellent adhesion and solvent resistance on a surface of a metal material such as an aluminum material. Also provided are a coating formulation for manufacturing an electrode plate for a battery or a polarizable electrode plate for a capacitor, in which an active material layer has excellent adhesion to a collector made of an aluminum foil, copper foil or the like and is also equipped with excellent electrolyte resistance and improved contact resistance to the collector, an undercoating formulation, the electrode plate and its manufacturing process, the battery, and the capacitor.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a fired ceramic body including a metal wire wherein the metal wire is placed in a mold and then, a ceramic slurry having a heat-gelling characteristic or a thermoset characteristic is poured into the mold. Subsequently, the ceramic slurry is dried and hardened to form a ceramic-compact-before-fired, and then, the ceramic-compact-before-fired is fired. In this firing process, a degreasing of the ceramic compact is firstly performed, and thereafter, a temperature of the ceramic compact is increased up to a second temperature at which the metal wire is softened and the ceramic compact is fired at a second temperature increasing rate. The second temperature increasing rate is set at such a rate that a shrinkage ratio of the ceramic compact when the temperature of the ceramic compact reaches the second temperature is smaller than or equal to a predetermined threshold shrinkage ratio.
