In one aspect, a method includes obtaining selections vector for images. A selection vector for an image can include vector elements that correspond to a unique search query. The value of each vector element can be proportional to a number of selections of image search results that included a representation of the image when the search results were presented in response to the unique search query. The image can be deemed be a click magnet image based at least in part on a first number of selections of image search results that included a representation of the image for search queries categorized as belonging to a set of categories and a total number of selections of image search results that included a representation of the image.

摘要： In order to provide an optical disk drive and read/write apparatus, the time of erasure, recording and reproduction of data by which is shortened to heighten the apparatus in access speed and data transfer speed, in the apparatus according to the present invention, an optical disk 4 is clamped to a turntable 2 supported with bearings 24 by a housing, and an optical head 5 is movably supported by the housing so as to face the disk. Four such optical heads 5 are disposed at equiangular intervals on a circle, and controlled independently of each other to perform the erasure, recording and reproduction of data from and in the disk 4 so as to make the apparatus much higher in access speed and data transfer speed than in the case that only one optical head is used.

In one aspect, a method includes determining a click count and a hover count for an image and a search query pair. The click count specifies a number of times that an image search result that includes a representation of the image has been selected when provided in response to the search query. The hover count specifies a number of times that the representation of the image has been hovered over when the image search result has been provided in response to the search query. A quality measure for the image with respect to the search query is determined. The quality measure is based on the click count and the hover count. A ranking of the image is adjusted for the search query based on the quality measure for the image.

摘要： When balls 3 are discharged from a nut 102 in accordance with relative axial movement of the nut 102 and a screw shaft 1, in order to prevent the balls 3 from contacting with thread grooves 102a and 1a of the nut 102 and the screw shaft 1 at three points, a counterbore 102c is formed around the thread groove 102a of the nut 102 in the vicinity of a discharge port for the balls 3 in the nut 102. When the balls 3 are contacted with the thread grooves 102a and 1a, therefore, a four-point contact is always maintained. Consequently, reaction forces which are applied from the thread grooves 102a and 1a to the balls 3 balance with each other, whereby stable holding of the balls 3 is ensured.
