摘要： A low voltage circuit breaker with a current sensing unit having a magnetic circuit with three branches, the secondary winding being mounted on the intermediate branch and the primary winding being formed by a conductor selectively passing through one or two of the openings provided between the secondary winding and the outer branches. The circuit breaker comprises an instantaneous electromagnetic trip mechanism and a static long time and short time delay trip unit, the latter unit being governed by a signal attenuated by a rating selection device.

摘要： The biosynthesis of lignin in plants is regulated by insertion into the plant genome by altering the plant's ability to synthesise the enzyme O-methyl transferase, an enzyme involved in the lignin biosynthetic pathway. Production of O-methyl-transferase may be enhanced by insertion into the plant genome by transformation of one or more additional copies of the O-methyl-transferase gene or production may be inhibited by insertion of a gene encoding anti-sense mRNA directed against the mRNA encoded by the endogenous O-methyl-transferase gene.

摘要： This invention relates to the monitoring of the correct operation of a respirator with single source of energy constituted by a cylinder of pressurized oxygen, to which is annexed a device for connection to a patient. Such monitoring is effected with the aid of a pneumatically operating device which comprises a comparator with adjustable threshold, connected to the mask for connecting to the patient and followed by an amplifier whose output signal takes the binary logic level 1 during the time when the insufflation pressure in the mask is greater than said threshold, and takes the other binary logic level 0 in the opposite case, and a circuit for processing this signal, which triggers off an alarm device if the duration of the time intervals when this latter is at level 1 is too long or too short with respect to a predetermined normal value.
