The device comprises at least two blocks, each block having a top face which comprises indicia resembling at least one of the keys of the keyboard. All of the blocks have indicia resembling the white keys of a piano keyboard, and some of the blocks have indicia resembling at least one of the black keys of a piano keyboard.In an embodiment of the present invention, the device is further comprised of a base having at least one raised projection and/or one indentation for fitting within a corresponding indentation or projection in at least one of the blocks.In another embodiment of the present invention, at least one of the blocks has an indentation and another of the blocks has a raised projection for fitting around the indentation. In this embodiment, the blocks can be assembled without a base.

摘要： An adjustable square device for scribing cut lines on large flat panels. The device has as a base member a straight, flat, rectangular bar. Pivotally connected at one end to the base member is an angularly adjustable pivot arm, also comprising a straight, flat, rectangular bar having an arcuate extension on one where such pivot arm is connected to the base member. The arcuate extension extends through a slot in the base member and is marked in degrees to form a quarter circle protractor integral with the pivot arm. Such protractor contains therein an arcuate groove, parallel with the outer edge of such arcuate extension and spaced inwardly therefrom. An adjustable stop extends through said groove and through the base member. The arcuate extension is pivoted on a pin affixed at the end thereof to the base member. Releasing the adjustable stop permits the pivot arm to be angled relative to the base member to the desired degree as indicated on the protractor. A short bar member is affixed to the base of the pivot arm to stop the swing thereof at a right angle to the base member. A further support bar extends medially from the base member at the end thereof remote from the pivot arm to permit the square device to be used either side up.

摘要： Methods to produce polymeric microparticles containing nanoparticles such, as pigments, dyes and other chromophores for cosmetic use, plastic surgery therapeutic use, and tattoos have been developed. The microparticles contain within the polymer a very uniform dispersion of dye particles. The methods by which the particles are made ensure a homogeneous mixture and high loading. The microparticles are made using air, one of a number of known methods such as phase inversion, solvent evaporation, and melt processing. The improvement is in the use of a method that makes, a stable dispersion of the nanoparticles in the liquid polymer before formation of the microparticles. This is achieved through selection of appropriate solvent, optionally including surfactant, and then subjecting the dispersion to mechanical processing that stabilizes the dispersion within the polymer solvent, so that the nanoparticles remain suspended for at least thirty minutes, in some cases two hours to 48 hours, sometimes up to three months. The mechanical processing can be sonication and/or production of shear forces, for examples, resulting from use of an open blade or rotor stator mixer or milling with a concentric shaft, at a speed such as between 5000 and 25,000 RPM.
