摘要： A technique is disclosed for generating a plurality of output frames based on a single input frame. An input interface is configured to receive at least a portion of the input frame. An output controller is configured to receive, for each of the plurality of output frames, a new header, and combine each new header with at least a portion of the input frame. An output frame may be generated for which no corresponding input frame exists. An input interface is configured to receive an indication that the output frame should be generated. An output controller is configured to receive a generated header and combine the generated header with a dummy payload to form the output frame.

摘要： A process for the preparation of a polyisobutene amine, in particularly a polyisobutene amine of formula (I): ##STR1## comprises reacting a carbonyl funtionalized polyisobutene [PIB]--(CO)R and an amine H.sub.2 NR.sup.1 and hydrogenating the product of the reaction between said carbonyll functionalized polyisobutene and said amine, where PIB is a polyisobutenyl group,R=H, methyl or vinyl,R.sup.1 =C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 alkyl group or --(CHR.sup.2).sub.n [X(CH.sub.2).sub.m ].sub.p X.sup.1 R.sup.3R.sup.2 =H or methyln=an integer of 1-4m=an integer of 2-4p=0, or an integer of 1-10R.sup.3 =H or C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkylXm X.sup.1 =O or NR.sup.4R.sup.4 =H, C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkyl group, or [(CH.sub.2).sub.q X.sup.2 R.sup.5 ]q=an integer of 2-4R.sup.5 is H, C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkyl groupX.sup.2 is 0 or NHeach of X and X.sup.1 may be the same or may be different and when p>1 each of the repeating units [X(CH.sub.2).sub.m ] may be the same or may be different.Polyamines or alcoholamines are preferred amines. 摘要： Optimizing statistics counter use is disclosed. A total number of counter bits to be used to track two or more statistics is determined. The total number of counter bits is allocated among the two or more statistics to provide for each statistic a counter comprising the number of bits allocated for that statistic, the allocation being such that each counter overflows at a rate desired for that counter. The overflow rates may be balanced, such that each counter overflows at approximately the same rate.

摘要： Oxidised polyisobutenes, that is polyisobutenes containing ketonic and carboxylic acid carbonyl groups, are produced by passing through a column of the polyisobutene maintained at a temperature in the range from 140.degree. to 200.degree. C. and at atmospheric or elevated total pressure a molecular oxygen-containing gaseous oxidant at a gas flow rate greater than 10 liters cm.sup.-2 h.sup.-1 measured at the operating pressure. The oxidized polysisobutenes can be reacted for example with an aliphatic polyamine to produce a lubricating oil additive or with an aliphatic polyamine and formaldehyde to product a fuels additive.

摘要： Multicasting network packets is disclosed. A total number of copies of a frame, t, to be sent is determined. A number of copies of the frame, m, which is less than a total number of copies of the frame, t, to be made during a current iteration is determined. M copies of the frame are made. The m copies of the frame are then sent to their destinations. The original input frame is provided as output with an indication that the frame should be returned for further processing. Processing of the frame is discontinued during an interval in which other frames are processed. The process is repeated until t copies have been sent.

摘要： This invention relates to novel pure hydrocarbyl succinylating agents, substantially pure derivatives thereof, to a method of preparation of pure substituted succinylating agents and their derivatives, and to the use of thereof as additives for fuels and lubricants. The hydrocarbyl substituted succinylating agents are pure because the real and apparent mole ratios of the succinyl groups to the hydrocarbyl groups in such agents are substantially the same. These are produced by reacting an olefin polymer such as poly(iso)butylene with maleic anhydride to form a hydrocarbyl substitued succinylating agent which is then cleaned by solvent extraction to remove any impurities therein before use in further reactions.
