    • A system and techniques for converting a source image frame in a particular YUV format to another YUV format is presented. The system can include a texture component, a luminance component, and a chrominance component. The texture component can be configured to generate luminance input pixels and chrominance input pixels from the source image. The luminance input pixels can each include a luma component and the chrominance input pixels can each include a first chroma component and a second chroma component. The luminance component can be configured to generate luminance output pixels, where the luminance output pixels can each include a group of luminance input pixels. The chrominance component can be configured to generate chrominance output pixels, where the chrominance output pixels can each include a group of first chroma components or a group of second chroma components.

    • The present invention includes a housing for hanging or mounting a wire and a device in a corner between two walls of a building. The housing includes an angular back plate. The angular back plate is bifurcated at an acute angle and the backplate further includes an angular raised portion which is similarly bifurcated at an acute angle and positioned in mating relation with the angular back plate. The raised portion is recessed from top, bottom and side edges of the angular back plate. The raised portion has planar front portions in angular relation to each other and enclosing the raised portion. The back plate is mounted to a corner defined by the wall frames using back plate holes. The angular raised portion mates with a building material affixed to the building wall frame. One of the planar front portions of the angular raised portion defines a hole for passing the wire therethrough.

    • A battery charger box for holding a pair of generally rectangular battery chargers therein. The box includes a container with a bottom panel and a perimeter side wall upwardly extending around the bottom panel of the container. A lid substantially covers a top opening into the container and is pivotally coupled to the perimeter side wall. The perimeter side wall has a generally oblong cord spool outwardly extending therefrom. The cord spool has an input receptacle for receiving an end of an electrical cord connected to a power supply. A pair of output receptacles are provided in the interior of the container and are electrically connected to the input receptacle for electrically connecting a pair of battery chargers in the container to the power supply. The perimeter side wall has a plurality of notches adjacent the upper edge of the perimeter side wall for extending the connecting cables of a battery charger in the interior space of the container therethrough.

    • A first group of video frames are decompressed to create a first group of decompressed video frames. The first group of decompressed video frames are compressed in reverse order to create a first group of reverse-order video frames. A second group of video frames are decompressed to create a second group of decompressed video frames, such that the second group of decompressed video frames are to be displayed prior to the first group of video frames. The second group of decompressed video frames are compressed in reverse order to create a second group of reverse-order video frames. The first and second groups of reverse-order compressed video frames are joined together. A determination is made regarding whether playback of the joined video frames will cause a buffer violation. If a buffer violation would occur, a last compressed frame is discarded from the first group of reverse-order compressed video frames.

In an embodiment, a pipeline architecture includes processor chains of data processors that process control events received from an application interface control. A tier assignment algorithm determines the longest path of data processors through the processor chains to determine a tier allocation for each data processor in the set of processor chains. Each tier includes a data processor from one or more of the processor chains where a first set of data processors in a first tier each receive a control event and process the control event and/or process the data according to the control event before a second set of data processors in a second tier each receive the control event.
