    • A coupling system between tubular members such as tubing, pipes, casing and liner for location in a well bore in which the ends of each tubular have cooperating profiled sections. The profiled sections are arranged coaxially and a radially applied force is applied to form a metal to metal sealed connection. At least one profiled section includes a projection, the projection containing an overhang to the surface of the tubular member, the overhang locking with the opposing profile when the force is applied to provide a coupling with increased burst and collapse rating. Embodiments are provided of arrangements of overhangs such as oppositely directed overhangs and interlocking overhangs.

    • Apparatus and method for creating a barrier across an annulus in a well bore. First and second morphable sleeves are arranged side by side on a tubular body and sealed thereto to. Adjacent ends of each sleeve meet at a valve housing having a valve arrangement with a first position in which fluid flows from the throughbore of the tubular body to the first and second sleeves and a second position which prevents the flow of fluid between the throughbore, the first chamber and the second chamber. At opposing ends of the sleeves rupturable barrier devices are positioned. The sleeves can be morphed together and by rupturing the barriers, each side of the barrier is active to pressure and collapse is prevented regardless of the pressure differential across the barrier.

    • Apparatus and method for filling and sealing a chamber with fluid at a predetermined pressure in a well bore. In a downhole assembly (10) comprising a tubular body (14) having a cylindrical throughbore (18) and a chamber (16) to be filled on an outer surface (26) of the body, a fill mechanism is provided to control fluid flow between the throughbore and the chamber. The fill mechanism includes a sliding seal (72) arrangement at the outer surface which is operated by the fluid flow in the throughbore to allow fluid flow into the chamber and then seal the chamber. Embodiments are described where the chamber is between a morphable sleeve (64) and the outer surface of the tubular, filling of the chamber morphs the sleeve and sealing the chamber at a predetermined fluid pressure secures the tubular within a borehole, creates an annular seal across an annulus or centralises the tubing within a wellbore.

    • A hydraulic fluid delivery tool for morphing a tubular downhole and a method of morphing a tubular downhole. The tool has spaced apart annular elastomer seal assemblies which operate by application of a piston against each elastomer to create a seal against the tubular. A first hydraulic fluid delivery line delivers fluid at a first pressure to operate the pistons. A second hydraulic fluid delivery line delivers fluid at a second pressure, lower than the first, to a location between the seals to morph the tubular and act on a second face of each piston to assist in maintaining the seal.
