    • A rotary element assembly structure in which a rotary element 53 is assembled to a tip side of a hollow shaft B1 provided upright on a pedestal 60. A cylindrical portion 53c for fitting with the hollow shaft is provided to a rotation center portion of the rotary element. In the cylindrical portion, a hook strut portion 53s that has a hook portion 53f overhanging in the radial direction at its tip side and that extends substantially in the fitting direction is arranged. A base end portion of the hook strut portion and a base end portion of the cylindrical portion are coupled with each other by a resin-made thin plate portion 53p. A small diameter portion B1s which is smaller in diameter than a hollow portion B1d of the hollow shaft is provided on the tip side of the hollow shaft. The radius of the overhang tip portion of the hook portion is set to be greater than the radius of the small diameter portion of the hollow shaft, and to be smaller than the radius of the hollow portion. By fitting the hollow shaft with the cylindrical portion of the rotary element, the hook portion on the tip side of the hook strut portion is pushed into the hollow portion via the small diameter portion on the tip side of the hollow shaft. Thereby, the hook portion engages with a stepped portion formed by the hollow portion and the small diameter portion.

    • A centrifugal governor for an internal combustion engine, which includes a sensor lever adapted to engage a cam surface of a torque cam determining a starting fuel increment, at the start of the engine, to displace the control rack into a fuel increasing position, and a cancelling spring interposed between the torque cam and the tension lever and urging the torque cam with a force dependent upon the angularity of the tension lever in a direction of disengaging the sensor lever from the cam surface for interrupting the starting fuel increasing action of the governor. Arranged at one end of an idling spring which urges the tension lever against radially outward movement of the flyweights is a spring force adjusting device adapted to increase the force of the idling spring at low temperatures to prohibit pivotal movement of the tension lever otherwise caused by operation of the control lever to a full-speed position at the start of the engine, thereby ensuring positive engagement of the sensor lever with the cam surface.

    • An image pickup apparatus includes a recording/reproducing part having a turntable for rotating a disk-shaped medium, an optical pickup, and a disk open/close cover for covering the disk-shaped medium under the condition that the disk-shaped medium is fitted to the turntable part, a monitor part for allowing a video signal output from an image pickup part to be recognized visually, and a body part in which the recording/reproducing part and the monitor part are placed. The recording/reproducing part is placed along one outer wall among outer walls constituting the body part, and the monitor part is placed so as to be overlapped with a projection plane of the disk open/close cover on an outer surface of the disk open/close cover opposed to the turntable. Thus, the operability and the holding property of the image pickup apparatus can be enhanced.

    • A unit fuel injector includes a body, the body having a fuel supply and return chamber, a fuel supply passage communicating with the chamber, and a drain passage communicating with the chamber. The body is provided with a pump mechanism, an injection nozzle mechanism for injecting high pressure fuel from the pump mechanism, and an electromagnetic valve mechanism for escaping the high fuel pressure from the pump mechanism. The electromagnetic valve mechanism include a poppet-type valve member. Immediately when a head of the valve member is disengaged from a valve seat facing the fuel supply and return chamber, the pressurized fuel within the pump mechanism is spilled or fed to the fuel supply and return chamber. The unit fuel injector further includes an auxiliary valve mechanism for opening and closing the drain passage. The auxiliary valve mechanism includes a valve port at one end of the drain passage, and when the head of the valve member abuts against a stop portion of the body, the valve port is closed.
