摘要： Biodegradable aliphatic polyester particles have: (A) an average particle diameter of 10 to 500 μm, and (B) a quantity of heat of low-temperature crystallization calculated as an exotherm attending on crystallization, detected in the course of heating by DSC, of at least 1 J/g, and preferably: (C) a quantity of heat of crystal melting calculated as an endotherm attending on melting of a crystal, detected in the course of the heating, of less than 100 J/g, and (D) a difference between the quantity of heat of crystal melting and the quantity of heat of low-temperature crystallization of less than 90 J/g. A process for producing the particles comprises grinding a particular biodegradable aliphatic polyester having a weight average molecular weight of at least 50,000 at not lower than 0° C. and lower than the glass transition temperature of the polyester while applying high shearing force.

摘要： Gas-barrier multilayer structures and gas-barrier shaped articles are sufficiently prevented from clouding even when exposed to cold water at 30° C. or below and have excellent gas barrier properties. Processes for producing such gas-barrier multilayer structures, and coating liquids (A) of excellent coating properties that are used to produce the multilayer structures are also provided. A coating liquid (A) includes a solvent mixture of water and an organic solvent and a polycarboxylic acid polymer partially neutralized with a polyvalent metal wherein the polymer is both dissolved and dispersed as particles in the solvent mixture and wherein the particles dispersed account for 5 to 80 wt% of 100 wt% of the polycarboxylic acid polymer partially neutralized with a polyvalent metal.

摘要： The invention is directed to a film which comprises a poly(carboxylic acid) polymer and a polyvalent metal compound, which is endowed with excellent gas barrier property against, for example oxygen, which has such resistance that the appearance, shape, and gas-barrier properties are not impaired by neutral water, high-temperature water vapor, or hot water; a laminate produced by use of the film; and a process for producing the film or laminate industrially conveniently at low cost. The film or laminate of the present invention is suitable for use as a package, packaging container, or vacuum insulation material for articles which are apt to be deteriorated by oxygen, etc., such as foods, beverages, chemicals, medicines, and metallic precision parts; e.g., electronic parts. Furthermore, there can be provided a packaging material suitable for use with articles which are required to be reliably insulated from gases for prolonged periods and should be treated under high-temperature, hot-water conditions as in boiling or pressurized high-temperature sterilization.
