摘要： A method includes producing an arrangement of grate bars for supporting fuel that is burned in an incinerator or other furnace device. The method includes positioning a pair of grate bars in adjacent side by side relation and with the respective upper sides that are configured to support the fuel, in generally aligned relation. The method further includes after positioning the grate bars, manipulating a fastener through respective recesses that extend in the grate bars, so that the grate bars are held in operative connection and in pressed together relation by the fastener. The method further includes subsequent to the fastener manipulation step, covering the recesses with at least one cover, such that the fastener is rendered inaccessible through the upper sides of the grate bars.

摘要： A nozzle (1) is configured to deliver gas into an incinerator such as a waste incinerator (3). The nozzle includes a nozzle pipe (20) and a swirl generator (21). The swirl generator includes a plurality of angularly spaced vanes (24) that are attached to an inner surface (19) of the pipe. The vanes terminate radially inwardly at respective vane inner surfaces (36). A continuous central passage (25) extends axially between the vane inner surfaces. Utilization of the swirl nozzles in connection with an incinerator provide improved gas mixing and avoid having regions with insufficient air to achieve complete combustion.

摘要： In the process for treating incineration residues from waste incineration plants, the incineration material is incinerated on a furnace grate. The incineration residues produced are quenched in a wet slag remover and conveyed out of the latter. The wet incineration residues which come out of the wet slag remover are firstly divided into two fractions by means of a screening operation, after which the main fraction is washed with water taken from the wet slag remover, and in the process adhering fine pieces are separated off. The washed pieces of the incineration residues are fed for reuse. The washing water together with the ultra fine pieces which have been taken up during the washing operation pass into the wet slag remover. The fine fraction produced during the mechanical separation operation is fed back to the incineration operation.
