摘要： A lens for illumination purposes is disclosed, in particular a lens for a headlamp for projecting the light emitted by a light source and reflected by a reflector in order to produce a pre-defined illumination pattern. Each lens is provided with an individualized code. For the purpose of coding, a laser is used, by means of which extremely small micro cracks are produced on the surface of the lens and can be read by means of a suitable reading device.
