    • The present invention concerns an integration construction between a steam boiler provided with a combustion chamber and a steam turbine. The steam is conducted from the steam boiler (10) along a connector to the steam turbine (11) for rotating an electric generator (G) producing electricity. The supply water circulated via the steam boiler (10) is vaporized in vaporizer (190) located in the steam boiler (10) and superheated in a superheater (120). The supply water is conducted into the boiler through an economizer (20) acting as a heat exchanger, in which heat is transferred from the flue gases of the boiler into the supply water. The economizer (20) is provided with at least two sections, comprising at least one first economizer section (20a1) and at least one second economizer section (20a2). The supply water preheated with bled steams of the steam turbine is conducted in the steam boiler (10) further from the economizer (20) to the vaporizer and the superheater and therethrough, in the form of steam, to the steam turbine. A connector (19) leading to the economizer sections (20a1, 20a2) comprises a branch point (D1) to a by-pass connector (21) of supply water, whereby the economizer section (20a1) can be bypassed by at least part of the supply water flow. The invention also concerns a method in preheating of the supply water for the steam turbine and in its control.

    • The present invention concerns an integration construction between a steam boiler provided with a combustion chamber and a steam turbine. The steam is conducted from the steam boiler (10) along a connector to the steam turbine (11) for rotating an electric generator (K) producing electricity. The supply water circulated via the steam boiler (10) is vaporized in a vaporizer (190) located in the steam boiler (10) and superheated in a superheater (120). The supply water is conducted into the boiler through an economizer (20) acting as a heat exchanger, where heat is transferred from the flue gases of the boiler into the supply water. The economizer (20) is provided with at least two sections, comprising at least one first economizer section (20a1) and at least one second economizer section (20a2). The supply water is conducted from the first economizer section (20a1) to a supply water preheater formed from a heat exchanger (14), where thermal energy is transferred from bled steams of the steam turbine either directly or via a medium, advantageously water, into the supply water. The supply water preheated with bled steams of the steam turbine is conducted in the steam boiler (10) to the second economizer section (20a2) and further to the vaporizer (190) and the superheater (120) and therethrough, in the form of steam, to the steam turbine. In the integration construction, the temperature of the supply water is raised continuously as the supply water is flowing in the first economizer section (20a1) and from the first economizer section (20a1) to the supply water preheater (14) and threthrough, to the second economizer section (20a2). The connector (13a1.1) leading to the supply water preheater (14) comprises a valve (21) for controlling the bled-steam.

    • Method for treatment of spent liquor at a pulp mill, in which method at least a part of the spent liquor flow (10) arriving from the evaporation plant is taken to a pyrolysis reactor (1), wherein it is pyrolysed at a temperature of 300-800° C. in order to separate evaporable compounds (12) from coke (11) remaining in a solid state. The pyrolysis products (11), which are gases or liquids, may be used as fuel or they may be processed further. The coke (11) resulting from the pyrolysis is burnt in a soda recovery boiler (3) or in a gasification reactor (2) to regenerate cooking chemicals. The method is suitable for recovery of chemicals and energy both in sulphate and sulphite processes and also in cooking methods based on organic solvents.

    • The invention concerns a method and a device in the cooling of the circulating material in a fluidized-bed boiler. In the method the fuel (A) is introduced into the circulating-powder combustion chamber (10) of the fluidized-bed boiler into the lower part of the circulating-powder combustion chamber (10) and an inert circulating material, which contains a proportion of unburned powdered fuel (A), is circulated from the top part of the circulating-powder combustion chamber (10) to the lower part of the circulating-powder combustion chamber (10). The flue gases are passed in the method from the powder separator (13) along the duct (15) into the exhaust-gas boiler (16), through whose heat exchanger (16a) thermal energy of the flue gases is transferred further to other useful use. In the method, part of the cooled flue gases are recirculated along the duct (20) into the circulating material and, by means of the cooled flue gases, the capacity of cooling of the fluidized-bed furnace is regulated by affecting the temperature of the circulating material.
