    • A magnetic attachment system for attaching a first object to a second object. A first magnet structure is attached to the first object and a second magnet structure is attached to the second object by the magnetic attraction between the first magnet structure and second magnet structure. The magnet structures comprise magnetic elements arranged in accordance with patterns based on various codes. In various embodiments, the code has certain autocorrelation properties, the code may be from a set of codes with low cross correlation; an attachment and a release configuration may be achieved by a simple movement of the magnet structures; the magnetic pattern may be configured to allow installation of a selected panel of a set of panels in a given location or orientation while rejecting the remaining panels of the set; or the magnetic pattern is configured using codes with low cross correlation.

    • A method for a panel having a magnetic mounting that utilizes a plurality of magnets in a magnet structure that allows high magnetic force when the panel is installed and the magnet structure is aligned while permitting removal using relatively light force applied to misalign the magnet structure to allow removal. In one embodiment, the magnet structure can provide precision positioning of the panel to a position on the order of the width of a single component magnet of the magnet structure. In another embodiment, the magnet structure may be misaligned for removal by a rotation of the magnet structure. In a further embodiment, the misalignment may be achieved by a lateral shift of the magnet structure. The invention may be adapted to a wide variety of panels including but not limited to doors, window coverings, storm coverings, seasonal covering panels, baby gates, white boards, and green house panels.

    • The invention relates to the use of an antigen which is a non-toxic double mutant form of pertussis toxin for the manufacture of a vaccine composition for intranasal administration to induce an immune response against B. pertussis infection. The invention also relates to the use of a non-toxic double mutant form of pertussis toxin for the manufacture of an adjuvant composition for stimulating or enhancing a protective immune response of an antigen co-administered therewith. The non-toxic double mutant is preferably one in which the glutamic acid 129 amino acid in the S1 sub-unit has been substituted by glycine and the arginine 9 amino acid has been substituted by lysine.

    • Radio signals are transmitted from a mobile detection unit such as a service vehicle in response to detection of signal egress from a cable distribution system such as a cable access television (CATV) system and coupled to the cable distribution system for upstream signaling by a resonant antenna such as a resonant loop or halo antenna and a sharply tuned filter to substantially eliminate other terrestrial or atmospheric signals being coupled to the cable distribution system. An optional attenuator may be included to limit signal energy in the upstream signal to prevent system damage. The mobile detection unit also preferably includes a global positioning system (GPS) receiver for determining position and time of any detection of signal egress or leaks and the transmitted radio signal preferably includes position and signal strength information. The radio signal is preferably transmitted in a burst having a duty cycle of 10% or less which may be multiplexed with signals from other mobile units preferably synchronized using the GPS time base.
