摘要： A basketball goal for indoor play in an area bounded by a wall having an access door set therein, the height of the goal being adjustable to a desired elevation. The goal includes a hoop from which a net is suspended, the hoop being supported on a fixture attached to the front section of a pantograph whose rear section is provided with a mounting bracket that hitches onto the upper edge of the door, whereby the hoop projects outwardly from the wall in a horizontal plane. The pantograph is angularly adjustable to raise or lower the front section thereof with respect to the rear section while maintaining these sections in parallel relation whereby the hoop may be set to an elevation suitable for play.

摘要： A light-weight, air-pressurized baseball bat useable by children to strike a ball, the bat having an enhanced striking power. The bat comprises striker and handle sections joined together by a coupler. The striker section is defined by a shell of synthetic plastic material whose shape is similar to that of a standard two-liter soda bottle. The shell is adapted to envelop a charge of compressed air and is provided with a half neck in which a valve plug is installed whose inlet projects therefrom. The handle section is provided at its upper end with a half neck that complements that of the striker section, the two-half necks being clamped together by the coupler which has a port therein to accommodate the valve inlet. By injecting compressed air into the striker section through the valve, the compressed air enveloped by the shell functions as a trampoline which when the ball impinges on the shell then acts to boost the rebound of the ball, thereby enhancing the striking power of the bat.

The front and rear wheels are provided with deep-tread tires affording good traction on unpaved surfaces. 摘要： A dual-footboard scooter in a tricycle format, the front wheel of the scooter being coupled to a steering post passing through a steering column to join a steering handle provided with a hand brake operatively coupled to the front wheel. A pair of parallel footboards are attached at their front ends to a bifurcated frame extending rearwardly from the steering column. Secured to the underside of each footboard is a rear end wheel behind which is a skid brake adapted to engage the ground only when the footboard is upwardly tilted. In operating the scooter, the rider grasps the steering handle, one foot then resting on either one of the footboards, the other foot extending through the space between the footboards to make pushing contact with the ground to propel the scooter forward. Should the scooter jump in the course of travel and in doing so raise the front wheel above ground and cause the footboards to become upwardly inclined, the scooter then seeks to swing backward about the rear wheels and thereby endanger the rider. The action is avoided by the rear skid brakes which then engage the ground to cause the scooter to swing forward to return the front wheel to the ground.
