摘要： A steering wheel assembly for a motor vehicle comprises a steering wheel and a display device mounted on the steering wheel. The display device is functionally linked with a sensor device to be mounted on the motor vehicle for detecting a parameter of the motor vehicle and adapted to display the parameter detected by the sensor device. The sensor device is coupled to a functional unit of the motor vehicle for passing on or converting energy and/or information. The functional unit being adapted and configured to display to a driver a suggestion for adjusting the parameter via the display device. The functional unit is associated with an actuator unit of the motor vehicle, which is used to adjust the parameter in accordance with the suggestion displayed by the functional unit.

The assembly includes a steering wheel, a steering wheel rim of the steering wheel at least partially rotating about a steering axis about which the steering wheel is mounted to be rotatable at an angle to the steering axis, at least one display device, arranged on the steering wheel, for displaying travel-related information of a motor vehicle, and at least one detection device, disposed on the steering wheel, for detecting an attentiveness level of the driver of the motor vehicle. The detection device is adapted to control the display device depending on the detected attentiveness level of the driver. Gas generated by the gas generator enters an exterior space surrounding the airbag module through outflow opening. The airbag module also includes a movable first element that is assigned to the outflow opening and can be moved from an initial position, in which the first element closes the outflow opening into an end position. Movement of the first element out of the initial position into the end position causes the outflow opening to be opened. The at least one outflow opening is assigned a second element that may be moved out of an initial position into an end position in order to close the open outflow opening.

In one form, the device includes a reversing gearing with a first gearing element of the reversing gearing, which is attached to a part of the motor vehicle fixed to said vehicle; a second gearing element of the reversing gearing, which can be fixed to the module and can be turned together with the module, and; a gearing subassembly, which can be actuated by turning the steering wheel and via which the first gearing element is coupled with the second gearing element in such a manner that a turning of the steering wheel relative to the first gearing element along a turning direction is converted into a turning of the module connected to the second gearing element relative to the steering wheel in the opposite direction. The device also includes a first electrical contact unit, which is combined with the first gearing element to form a subassembly and is connected in a fixed manner to the part attached to the vehicle; a second electrical contact unit, which is combined with the second gearing element to form a subassembly and is connected to the module in a fixed manner, and; electrical connecting means for connecting the first electrical contact unit to the second electrical contact unit.
