    • A gas-lift valve comprising an elongated vertically orientated tubular body with inlet ports positioned for communication with the inlet ports of a gas-lift valve mandrel, a valve seat and valve port at the upper end of the valve body, a movable gas charged dome positioned within the body below the valve seat, a valve ball assembly attached to the dome, and a collapsible bellows positioned to move the dome and manipulate the valve ball assembly downward onto and off of the valve seat in response to pressure from said inlet ports of the valve body and pressure on the seat and thereby allow injection gas to flow upward through the valve port to exit at the upper end of the valve body. A tubular latch is provided with a removable plug to provide for pressure testing and completion of the well with only one wireline trip.

    • Described are methods, systems, and computer readable media for adjusting the speed control of a pump assembly. The method can include the steps of setting the speed of a first stroke of the pump assembly to a first value and setting the speed of a second stroke of the pump assembly to a second value, modifying the speed of the first stroke while the pump is engaged in an upstroke, and modifying the speed of the second stroke while the pump is engaged in a downstroke through manual or automatic configuration processes. The computer readable medium can include an application that can be adapted to execute instructions that can configure the upstrokes and downstroke of the pump. Through these automatic or manual configuration parameters, a linear pump can execute fully configurable multiple speed settings within a stroke on the pump assembly, thus increasing the pump's efficiency irrespective of pump fillage. The methods and systems described herein are applicable to a variety of pump assemblies, including linear rod pumps, hydraulic rod pumps, artificial lift systems, and the like.

    • Applicants have created systems, methods, and apparatuses for increasing the production of fluid from a subterranean well. The system can include a controller and upper and lower portions. The upper portion can include an injection valve for regulating the amount of a first gas injected into an injection conduit. The lower portion can include a chamber valve for regulating the flow of a second gas through an upper tubing string and a vent valve for regulating the flow of the first gas and a standing valve. The collected fluid creates pressure in the lower portion causing the second gas to flow from the lower tubing string to the upper tubing string. The controller controls the injection valve and is coupled to a pressure gauge for measuring pressure in the lower portion. With the aid of this system, well operators can increase production of subterranean well formations, such as gas wells, without increasing backpressure on those formations.
