    • An extruded hinge with a multiplicity of bearing assemblies spaced along its length has a pair of abutting hinge leaves with mounting portions and pivot portions with convexly arcuate surfaces extending along their abutting edges and intermeshing gear teeth extending along the length thereof. The pivot portions have channels in their surfaces opposite the arcuate geared surface, and the hinge leaves have pairs of axially offset, opposed cooperating cutouts extending through the pivot portions. These cutouts provide a center portion in which the cutouts are aligned and recesses at the axial ends thereof in opposite hinge leaves. An elongated lateral bearing member has a cavity therewithin which receives the pivot portions, and it has opposed flanges at its free ends, which extend into the channels of the pivot portions to lock the hinge leaves in assembly. In each of the cutouts is a bearing block with a body portion disposed in the center portion of the cutouts and axially projecting portions at each end disposed within the recesses defined by the cutouts. The bearing block has channels along its sides which seat the bearing member flanges. Bearing caps are disposed in the cutouts between the ends of the body portion of the bearing block and the adjacent pivot portions of the leaves, and they are engaged with their respective pivot portions and pivotable therewith.

    • A concealable architectural hinge assembly has a mounting bracket with a U-shaped body which seats within a recess in the door jamb and a pair of flanges at its outer ends which extend along a face of the jamb. The mounting portion of one hinge leaf is secured to the bracket base wall and its knuckle portion is along its side edge in the direction of door opening movement, and it extends angularly outwardly to provide an offset barrel portion. The second hinge leaf has a generally U-shaped body with its mounting portion disposed against the edge of the door. It has a displacement or center portion which extends toward the other side edge of the first hinge leaf, and its arm portion extends substantially parallel to its mounting portion. The knuckle portion of the second leaf extends angularly from the plane of the arm position to provide an offset barrel portion aligned with that of the first leaf.

    • A decorative surface-mounted latch bolt assembly includes a decorative housing, a chassis providing an elongated passage therewithin, and a guide member disposed within the passage of the chassis and providing an elongated channel in which is seated the latch bolt. The guide member is fabricated of synthetic resin and its passage is configured and dimensioned to snugly receive the latch bolt so as to preclude its rattling or inadvertent movement therewithin. An actuator is supported above the top surface of the housing, and a connecting element extends between the actuator and the latch bolt through registering openings in the top wall of the housing, the chassis and the guide member, and these apertures are elongated so as to permit the desired longitudinal movement of the latch bolt.

    • A wall storage system makes use of a support rail horizontally attached to a wall. The rail may be offset from the wall between its ends and has one or more vertical grooves across its width. One or more brackets formed with a U-shaped arm section to support a load are attached to the rail by an inverted U-shaped fastener section. A protrusion at the open end of the fastener causes it to grip the rail and yet permits the bracket to be mounted on the bar at the groove. Once the bracket has been slid along the rail out of the groove area, it is captured on the rail and provides firm support for the load.
