    • An auxiliary air inlet fuel saver device for internal combustion engines which includes a body member for mounting between a carburetor and intake manifold of an internal combustion engine which has at least one throat aperture with an auxiliary air inlet hole extending from externally of the body member to the throat aperture, the air inlet hole being at an angle of approximately 45.degree. to the central point of the throat aperture, an adjustable valve aperture directly in line with the center point and meeting with the exit opening of the additional air hole, an adjustable valve member mounted in the valve aperture for controlling the air flow into the body member throat, and hosing connecting to the air filter as usually associated with the engine carburetor for providing filtered air to the device.

    • A plurality of algorithms for interpreting and displaying point cloud data are disclosed. Typically, a virtual grid is constructed over point cloud data, with intersections of the grid at a predetermined spacing that may be dependent on density of the point cloud. Several methods are implemented that utilize tuple data from tuples near a respective intersection to populate intersections of the grid with data. In most embodiments, the intersections of the grid correspond to pixels in a raster image. The tuple data may be manipulated to determine Nyquist spacing of points in a point cloud and portions thereof, develop monoscopic and stereoscopic images, and enhance selected features of an image. Additional algorithms are disclosed that reduce storage and computational requirements during processing of point clouds. Such algorithms use a tiled grid structure wherein processing and data storage proceeds in one or a few of the tiles at a time.

    • A method for treating amblyopia in children is disclosed. A pair of eyeglasses or goggles is provided with an electrically and selectively darkenable lens, such as am LCD lens, so that for selected portions of time, one or the other eye may be occluded. In one embodiment, circuitry for providing pulses of a selected width to one or both lenses is incorporated in the eyeglasses or goggles, with the lens associated with the deviating eye receiving a wider pulse than the lens associated with the other eye. Thus, the deviating eye is occluded for a longer period of time than the normal eye. In another embodiment, a computer is coupled to the eyeglasses or goggles, and is provided with a program of interest to the child which selectively occludes the deviating eye.
