    • There are provided a system and a method for intermediating an on-line advertisement. The system for intermediating an on-line advertisement, which provides an on-line advertisement intermediation site to a plurality of terminals connected through a communication network, includes: a database where a plurality of on-line advertisements is stored; and an advertisement server that provides an advertisement list of the on-line advertisements stored in the database to the terminals, that when receiving a request for seeing some of the advertisements included in the advertisement list from users, displays the contents of the advertisements on the terminals, ascertains whether the users have seen the advertisements, and stores lists of the advertisements that the users have seen, to user accounts, respectively, creates an advertising message including at least one of the advertisements included in the lists of the advertisements stored in the user accounts and transmits the advertising message to the terminals of another user, in accordance with an instruction from the user. It is possible to achieve a high effect of transmitting an advertisement, because consumers can distribute advertisements by themselves.
