In another embodiment this invention provides novel chromophoric diester monomers which are reacted with diol monomers to form an invention polyester dye. A present invention toner composition comprises particulate polyester dye, and one or more optional components such as a charge control agent or a surfactant.

摘要： An optical switch includes a plurality of first optical fibers, a plurality of second optical fibers, a first MEMS array, and a second MEMS array. The first MEMS array is optically coupled with the first optical fibers to receive optical signals from the first optical fibers and to direct the optical signals, wherein the first MEMS array defines a first array incidence angle between a normal direction to the first MEMS array and a direction of the received optical signals. The second MEMS array is optically coupled with the first MEMS array to receive the directed optical signals and to re-direct the directed optical signals with the second optical fibers wherein the second MEMS array defines a second array incidence angle between a normal direction to second MEMS array and a direction of the re-directed optical signals. The configuration of the components is provided to provide reduced optical losses.

摘要： A liquid drop images sensor for determining the volume of liquid drops comprises a light source and an array of optical sensors which receive light energy from the source. The array is positioned relative to the source to establish a passageway therebetween through which drops can fall. Electronic structure connected to the array sequentially activates the array for discrete episodes during the passage of a drop through the passageway. The electronic structure also generates signals which indicate the proportion of the array affected by the shadow of the drop during each episode. Additionally, the liquid drop image sensor includes structure which accumulates the signals and uses them to calculate the volume of the liquid drop.

Each of the modulators is designed to suppress even order distortion products and develop third order distortion products of opposite sign and equal magnitude.
