    • An integrated circuit battery sensor and system thereof are provided. The battery sensor includes a voltage sensor configured to sample a voyage of a battery and a buffer in electrical communication with the voltage sensor and configured for scaling the sampled battery voltage and outputting a voltage signal proportional to the sampled battery voltage; wherein the voltage sensor is further configured for isolating the buffer from the battery. The voltage sensor includes a first capacitor coupled to a positive potential terminal of the battery and a second capacitor coupled to a negative potential terminal of the battery. The battery sensor includes a first die including a first and second input terminal configured for coupling to the positive and negative potential terminals of the battery; and a second die including the voltage sensor, wherein the first and second die are electrically isolated from each other.

    • An integrated circuit battery sensor and system thereof are provided.     • An optical receiver having a photodetector, amplifier, feedback loop, and output circuit is disclosed. The photodetector generates a current between first and second nodes in response to being illuminated with light. The amplifier has an input connected to the first node and an output connected to a third node. The feedback path connects the third node to the first node, and includes a diode in series with a circuit element having an impedance greater than a predetermined value, the diode is connected between the first and fourth nodes. The output circuit is connected to the fourth node and provides an output signal to an external circuit. The output circuit can be configured to provide an output signal that is proportional to the logarithm of the intensity of the light that illuminates the photodetector.

    • A light sensor having first and second photodetectors and a current mirror is disclosed. The first photodetector receives a light signal and generates a light current proportional to the light intensity received by the first photodetector and a dark current that is independent of the light intensity. The second photodetector is connected in series with the first photodetector at a first node. The second photodetector has a covering that prevents light from reaching the second photodetector. The second photodetector generates a current equal to the dark current. The first photodetector is connected to a power source and the second photodetector is connected to an output node. The current mirror is connected to the first node and the output node and generates an output current that is proportional to the light current through the output node when the output node is connected to an external circuit.
