    • Disclosed is an improved electric connector having depressible probe pins each comprising movable and stationary contact pieces. The movable contact piece comprises a front projection and a rear convergence integrally connected to the front projection. The probe pin is press-fitted in a selected pin slot in the insulating casing of the electric connector, allowing the front projection to partly appear from the selected pin slot. The stationary contact piece has two opposite arms extending from its base. The opposite arms of the stationary contact piece pinch the convergence of the movable contact piece, and withdrawal of the front projection of the movable contact piece causes the opposite arms to yieldingly open wide enough to allow the convergence of the movable contact piece to invade therebetween. The parallel-arrangement of current-carrying passages provided by the bifurcate stationary contact piece has the effect of increasing the current conducting capacity of the electric connector.

    • Disclosed is an improvement in a card ejection device having an ejection lever slidably attached to one side of an associated card casing so that the inserting of a card in the card casing may drive the ejection lever out of the front side of the card casing, and so that the pushing of the ejection lever toward the rear side of the card casing may eject the card out of the front side of the card casing. The head section of the ejection lever has two opposite walls that are "U" shaped, rotatably sandwiching an ejection button. The pivot axle of the ejection button passes through the engagement holes made in the confronting walls, thereby permitting the ejection button to turn from the operative position in which the ejection button is put in alignment with the ejection lever to the rest position in which the ejection lever is perpendicular to the ejection lever or vice versa.

    • Disclosed is an improved card connector comprising a casing for accommodating a card, a rotary lever pivoted in the casing, and an ejection lever slidably attached to one side of the casing. The ejection lever is so operatively connected to the rotary lever that the inserting of the card in the casing may drive the ejection lever toward the front side of the casing through the agency of the turning rotary lever, and that the pushing of the ejection lever toward the rear side of the casing may eject the card out of the front side of the casing through the agency of the turning rotary lever. The rotary lever is pivotally mounted to the ceiling of the casing by a tongue-like piece extending across the rotary lever from one lateral side of a window opening of the ceiling plate. The window opening is made by cutting a selected area of the ceiling plate, and is somewhat wider than the rotary lever, and the tongue-like piece is depressed the thickness of the ceiling plate. The rotary lever has a depression at its pivotal area, the amount of depression corresponding to the thickness of the casing plate. Combination of the depressed tongue and the reentrant section of the rotary lever provides a fulcrum for the rotary lever.

    • A connector apparatus wherein a connector member includes an insulation material connector body with a large number of contacts projecting downwardly from the connector member base for positioning on a printed circuit base board. An attaching member is provided for attaching the contacts to the printed circuit board. An end portion of each of the contacts is connected by soldering to a printed circuit of the base board. The attaching member includes a metallic plate member provided at its one end portion with a pair of legs including projections positioned at forward ends respectively for engagement with and for soldering to the printed circuit base board. The metallic plate member may be provided on both side edges with a pair of engaging claws which engage an inner wall of an attaching opening made in the connector body. The attaching member may include the metallic plate member and a tap screw which is screwed into a second end portion of the metallic plate member.
