摘要： The positive electrode active material powder of the present invention is a positive electrode active material powder, including primary particles and aggregated particles of primary particles, wherein an average particle diameter of primary particles and aggregated particles of primary particles in the powder is 0.1 μm or more and 3 μm or less on a volume basis, the percentage of [volumetric sum of particles having a particle diameter of 5 μm or more]/[volumetric sum of entire particles] is 10% or less, and a BET specific surface area of the powder is more than 2 m2/g and 7 m2/g or less. When this positive electrode active material powder is used for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, it becomes possible to exhibit a high discharge capacity and also exhibit a high output at a high current rate.

摘要： The powder for a positive electrode of the present invention comprises a positive electrode active material powder comprising primary particles and aggregated particles of primary particles, 90% or more of particles out of primary particles and aggregated particles of primary particles in the powder having a particle diameter of 0.01 μm or more and 5 μm or less, and comprises a graphite powder comprising graphite particles, 90% or more of particles out of graphite particles in the powder having a particle diameter of 0.1 μm or more and 10 μm or less as a maximum particle diameter. When the powder for a positive electrode is used for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, it becomes possible to exhibit a high discharge capacity and also exhibit a high output at a high current rate.

摘要： In accordance with the present invention, a powdery material and a positive electrode mixture for providing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of exhibiting a higher output under high current rate conditions are provided. The powdery material according to the present invention comprises a positive electrode active material powder having an average particle diameter of from 0.05 μm to 1 μm and two or more types of graphite powder wherein the average particle diameters of the two or more types of the graphite powder are different from each other and each graphite powder has an average particle diameter of from 0.01 μm to 20 μm. The positive electrode mixture according to the present invention comprises the powdery material, a binder, and a solvent.

In this lithium secondary battery, the active material used in the cathode is lithiated nickel dioxide containing gallium.
