    • A Ni-base heat resistant alloy excellent in weldability and strength at elevated temperatures and suited for use in manufacturing cracking furnace tubes and reformer furnace tubes to be used in ethylene plants as well as a welded joint therefor is provided. The alloy of the invention is a Ni-base heat-resistant alloy, which comprises C: not more than 0.1%, Si: not more than 2%, Mn: not more than 2%, P: not more than 0.025%, S: not more than 0.005%, N: not more than 0.04%, Cr: 10 to 30%, Al: 2.1 to less than 4.5%, and Mo: 2.5 to 15% or W: 2.5 to 9% or Mo and W: 2.5 to 15% in total, and satisfies the relation (1) given below: (104Si+1980P+1980S+9Al+15Ti+11Nb+1.8W+11600B)≦{1.1(240−20000S−1900P−30Al−10Ti−9W+17000B)   (1) In the welded joint of the invention, both of the base metal and weld metal are made of the alloy having the above composition, and the ST value of the weld metal as calculated according to the following formula (2) or (3) is larger by not less than 3 than the ST value of the base metal: in the case of Ti≦4C; ST=Mo+1.5W+100Ti   (2) in the case of Ti>4C; ST=Mo+1.5W+400C   (3).

    • A polyurethane elastic fiber made from a polyurethane obtained from a copolymerized polyalkyleneether diol composed of different alkyleneethers containing 2-10 carbon atoms; the polyurethane comprises a urethane portion having a number average molecular weight of 6000-9500 and a urea portion having a number average molecular weight of 650-950. The polyurethane elastic fiber has improved elastic functions such as high elongation at break (elongation at break is 500%, or more), low modulus (300% modulus is 0.20 g/d, or less), excellent low temperature characteristics, and heat resistance; and, therefore, creation of highly excellent converted goods is made possible.The elastic fiber can be produced at a higher productivity by spinning the polyurethane prepared by reacting a copolymerized polyalkyleneether diol composed of different alkyleneethers containing 2-10 carbon atoms and 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate to form a fully isocyanate terminated prepolymer for forming the said urethane portion followed by an additional loading of said diisocyanate and reacting a bifunctional diamine such as ethylenediamine to form said urea portion.

    • A method of heat treatment for an efficient forming of two-layered oxide film on the inside surface of a Ni-base alloy tube. The oxide film suppresses the Ni release in a high-temperature water environment.At least two gas supplying devices are provided on the outlet side of a continuous heat treatment furnace; or one gas supplying device is provided respectively on the outlet side and the inlet side thereof. The tube is put into the furnace while supplying an atmospheric gas into the tube from the front end of the tube moving direction with one of these gas supplying devices and a gas introducing pipe, which is arranged inside the furnace, and this tube is maintained at 650 to 1200° C. for 1 to 1200 minutes. The atmospheric gas consists of hydrogen or a mixture of hydrogen and argon, whose dew point is in a range of from −60° C. to +20° C. After the front end of the Ni-base alloy tube reaches the outlet side of the furnace, the supply of atmospheric gas into the tube is switched to the supply from other gas supplying device. The operations are repeated.
