摘要： A hydrolyzable silyl group-containing azo compound is represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein A represents a group originating from an azo compound having one or more active hydrogen groups;R.sup.1 represents a monovalent organic group;R.sup.2 represents a divalent organic group;X represents a hydrolyzable group;Y represents --O--, --S--, ##STR2## m is an integer of 1 to 3; and n is an integer of 1 or 2;and process for producing the same is disclosed. The hydrolyzable silyl group-containing azo compound is used to prepare a hydrolyzable silyl group-containing vinyl polymer produced by polymerizing vinyl monomer as a radical polymerization initiator.

摘要： A curable composition. The composition contains(A) 100 parts of an oxyalkylene polymer having at least one silicon-containing group containing a hydroxyl group and/or hydrolyzable group bound to a silicon atom and capable of crosslinking through the formation of a siloxane bond;(B) 1 to 150 parts of a high molecular weight and/or high viscosity plasticizer; and(c) 0.1 to 20 parts of a compound having one silanol group per molecular and/or a compound capable of reacting with moisture to thereby form one silanol group per molecule. When an alkyd paint is applied onto the surface of a cured material formed from this curable composition excellent coating properties can be obtained, the other physical characteristics of the cured material being maintained.

摘要： A curable composition. The composition comprises (A) 100 parts by weight of an oxyalkylene polymer having at least one silicon-containing group in which a hydroxy group and/or hydrolyzable group is or are bonded to the silicon atom, said polymer being crosslinkable by formation of a siloxane bond, (B) from 0.1 to 20 parts by weight of a compound having one silanol group per molecule and/or a compound capable of forming a compound having one silanol group per molecule on reacting with moisture, and (C) from 0.1 to 20 parts by weight of a compound having an air oxidative curing unsaturated group. The composition provides a cured product which has low modulus and resistance to dust adhesion and on which an alkyd coating shows excellent coating properties.

摘要： A moisture curable composition comprising an acrylate or methacrylate polymer having a silicon functional group capable of causing crosslinking or chain extension by moisture, at least in molecular ends, and being useful particularly as a sealing material and a pressure sensitive adhesive, said polymer being prepared by polymerizing (a) an alkyl acrylate or methacrylate or a monomer mixture of at least 50% by weight of the alkyl acrylate or methacrylate and other unsaturated compounds copolymerizable therewith and (b) 0 to 20 parts of .alpha.,.beta.-ethylenically unsaturated organic silicon compound in the presence of (c) 0.01 to 20 parts of a radical polymerization initiator having a group of the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.3 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, X is a hydrolyzable group and "a" is 0, 1 or 2, and (d) 0 to 20 parts of a chain transfer agent selected from the group consisting of a compound of the general formula: ##STR2## and a compound of the general formula: ##STR3## wherein R.sup.3, X and "a" are as defined above, and R.sup.4 is a bivalent organic group, said parts of (b), (c) and (d) being parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of (a).
