摘要： An image pickup apparatus includes: a first base image selection unit selecting a piece of image data as a first base image used in superposition; a shift amount calculation unit calculating an amount of shift between the first base image and another different piece of image data; an image superposition unit detecting a superposing area as an area in which the different piece of image data can be superposed on the first base image after a shift correction is made on a basis of the calculated amount of shift, and performing superposition for the superposing area; a second base image selection unit selecting a piece of image data as a second base image used in a non-superposing area; and an image combination unit combining a superposition result with the non-superposing area in the second base image, and outputting image data as a combination result.

摘要： Adaptive image processing device performs image processing with a simple configuration on a composite image including areas having different characteristics by changing a process depending on the number of combined images in each area of the composite image configured by combining a plurality of images. The image processing device acquires a plurality of images and generates a composite image. The coefficient renewal part includes a part for dividing renewed filter coefficients into a plurality of groups each having a certain number of renewed filter coefficents, and a part for successively selecting one group with a predetermined period and carrying out a correction process with respect to the renewed filter coefficients within the selected group, where the correction process corrects an accumulation of errors of renewal processes.

摘要： In a device for combining a plurality of images having a same photograph range, a position shift between the images having the same photograph range is detected, and the position shift of the images is corrected, and after the position shift is corrected, similarity of the respective portions between the images is evaluated, and the image combining method is changed according to the similarity evaluation. Therefore it is possible to create an image having no position shift due to the shaking of a camera and object blurring due to the movement of the object. Moreover, whether the images are combined or not is determined according to the similarity, hence the processing load is reduced and an image having no object blurring can be created.
