摘要： A redundant array of independent disks (RAID) storage system, includes a RAID master controller receiving a RAID request selectively communicating the RAID request to one of a plurality of storage devices, wherein first and second storage devices are directly connected outside a data communication path including the host among the storage devices. The first storage device determines upon receiving the RAID request whether distribution of a RAID sub-request to the second storage device is necessary, such that upon determining that the distribution of a RAID sub-request is necessary, the first RAID controller communicates the RAID sub-request to the second storage device via the direct network connection.

摘要： A sealed honeycomb structure which can suppress increase of pressure loss and improve durability favorably is disclosed. A sealed honeycomb structure 100 including includes a honeycomb structure having porous walls dividedly forming inlet cells and outlet cells, an outlet side sealing portion, and an inlet side sealing portion, wherein an opening area of the inlet cell is larger than an opening area of an outlet cell on a cross-section of the honeycomb structure, wherein at least one outlet cell is a reinforced cell where a reinforcing part for reinforcing the outlet cell is formed at at least one corner portion at which the walls on a cross-section vertical to an extending direction of the cell cross each other, and wherein the inlet cell is a non-reinforced cell where the reinforcing part is not formed at all the corner portions at which the walls on the cross-section vertical to the extending direction of the cell cross each other.

摘要： A system for detecting pollution by a poisonous material for an air exhauster of a vehicle may include a temperature sensor provided to the flow line of an exhaust gas and having a catalyst material that causes an exothermic reaction with a pollution material in the exhaust gas, and a controller which stores a standard temperature value of the temperature sensor and operates in such a manner that the exhaust gas may be heated under control of an engine control unit when the temperature value drops by a predetermined amount from the standard temperature value, and that the catalyst material may be determined to have deteriorated when a measured temperature value after heating may be less than the standard temperature value, so that the standard temperature value may be replaced with the measured temperature value, and to a detection method using the same.

摘要： A system for regenerating a diesel particulate filter of the present invention includes a fixing part, a fluid supplying part, a fluid inhaling part, and a controller. The fixing part fixes a housing of a diesel oxidation catalyst-diesel particulate filter assembly. The fluid supplying part supplies a fluid of high temperature and high pressure to a rear end of the housing. The fluid inhaling part inhales the fluid from a space between the diesel oxidation catalyst and the diesel particulate filter of the housing. The controller controls the fluid supplying part such that temperature of the fluid between the diesel oxidation catalyst and the diesel particulate filter arrives at a first predetermined temperature.
