    • A clamp assembly comprising two brackets. Each bracket may include an elongated end, a curved section adjacent the elongated end, a channel formed by the curved section, and a mating surface adjacent the channel. When the mating surfaces of each bracket are in mating contact with each other, the channels of each bracket are substantially aligned with each other to form a shaft aperture. The brackets may be fitted together via a tongue and groove configuration and are coupled by way of mechanical fasteners at connection points on each bracket. Each bracket may comprise a coupling area that is configured to engage a mechanical fastener. The clamp assembly mounts to a shaft comprising a plurality of notched segments, wherein each notched segment has a cross-sectional shape that is substantially similar to the shaft aperture cross-sectional shape. The shape of the shaft aperture and the cross-sectional shape of the shaft may be a rounded rectangle, so that the mounted clamp assembly will not rotate around the shaft when rotational force is applied thereto. The plurality of notched segments may be rotated angularly relative to each other.

    • A turbine assembly, which may be part of a turbine generator assembly, includes a turbine flywheel assembly and a magnet motor within a turbine casing. The turbine flywheel assembly comprises a turbine flywheel rotatably coupled to a shaft, turbine blade assemblies mounted thereon and a magnet motor rotor assembly coupled to the shaft. The magnet motor rotor assembly includes rotor permanent magnets arranged in a ring around the shaft. The same pole of each includes rotor permanent magnet faces outward away from the shaft. A magnet motor stator assembly comprises stator magnet assemblies, each comprising a stator electromagnet and a stator permanent magnet, arranged in a ring around the magnet motor rotor assembly to exert replusive force on the nearest rotor permanent magnet. Selectably controllable nozzles inject compressed air onto the turbine blades. Electromagnet controller(s) individually and selectably activate, deactivate and polarity-switch the stator electromagnets.

    • A wire sensing coil is sealed in the tip of an elongate, rigid, plastic probe, and is connected by a coaxial cable releasably to a housing containing a fixed frequency, crystal-controlled oscillator, the output of which is applied through a high impedance resistor and the cable to the coil. The number of turns in the coil and the cable length are carefully selected so that the coil remains tuned to the frequency of the oscillator, except when the tip of the probe approaches a metal object, at which time the voltage drop across the coil decreases. The housing also contains an audible alarm, and a sensing circuit which detects the voltage drop across the coil, and which energizes the alarm when the voltage across the coil drops below a preset or predetermined level. The housing also contains a rechargable battery for supplying power to the oscillator and alarm circuits, and a recharging circuit for recharging the battery. A manually operable switch on the housing connects the battery to the oscillator when the switch is in its ON position, and connects the recharging circuit to the battery when in its OFF position.
