    • A scent diffusion apparatus and method contains individual original scents for a plurality of scents to be diffused, constructs information on position information of the contained original scents and information on various scents to be diffused in a database, and mixes the original scents of the desired scent properly at a desired point in time based on the scent information, to thereby spray the desired scent. The scent diffusion method includes providing a plurality of scent spraying units containing original scents, heating the original scents via a heater, evaporating the original scents, and diffusing the evaporated scent with the air via an air supply pump. Thus, a desired scent can be transferred to a selected subject under correct concentration. The scent diffusion apparatus uses scent cartridges containing the original scents, such as cartridges used in an existing ink-jet printer, and uses the same control commands as those of a general personal computer or ink-jet printer compatibly. Thus, the scent diffusion apparatus can control an amount of diffusion precisely, be manufactured in a compact fashion, and used in connection with a general purpose computer in which almost all kinds of operating systems supporting an ink-jet printer are incorporated.

    • There is provided relaxation oscillator. The relaxation oscillator includes: a ramp wave generator generating ramp waves by a complementary operation between a first capacitor module charged and discharged according to a first switching signal and a second capacitor module charged and discharged according to a second switching signal; a negative feedback circuit unit generating a compensation voltage for compensating errors with reference voltage by being fedback with the ramp waves; and a switching signal generator generating the first switching signal controlling the charging and discharging of the first capacitor module and the second switching signal controlling the charging and discharging of the second capacitor module from the compensation voltage and the ramp waves. As a result, the present invention can generate ramp waves having a stable frequency while preventing a frequency from being changed due to a delay or an offset of the comparator.

    • A delay time compensation circuit for a clock buffer includes first and second toggle flip-flops multiplying an input clock signal and a delay clock signal which is delayed by an input buffer, respectively, a time interval extraction chain extracting a time interval between a rising edge of the input clock signal and a rising edge of the delay clock signal in accordance with clock signals multiplied in the first and second toggle flip-flops, and a variable delay chain delaying the input clock signal by a time interval extracted from the time interval extraction chain. The circuit employs a ½ multiplied clock signal and operates without regard to a duty cycle of an input clock signal, thereby compensating for all the delay time within the cycle of the input clock signal.
