    • A circuit for generating a start pulse signal for a source driver IC in a TFT-LCD includes: a first latch unit for receiving a data enable signal and a reset signal, extracting a leading edge of the data enable signal in a leading edge of a main clock signal, and latching the data enable signal in a trailing edge thereof; a logic gate unit for receiving a complementary signal of the output signal from the first latch unit and the data enable signal, and generating a pulse signal in a leading edge of the data enable signal; and a second latch unit for receiving the output signal from the logic gate unit and the reset signal, outputting the output signal from the logic gate unit as a start pulse signal in the leading edge of the main clock signal, and latching the output signal from the logic gate unit in the trailing edge thereof.

    • The present invention relates to a cosmetic pigment composition exhibiting colors in the visible region, which comprises an effective amount of nanoparticles or a mixture of two or more nanoparticles selected from the group consisting of (a) gold nanoparticles exhibiting red color; (b) silver nanoparticles exhibiting yellow color; (c) gold-silver alloy nanoparticles exhibiting flame color; and (d) gold nanoparticles exhibiting blue color, and a color cosmetic composition and a color lotion comprising the pigment composition. According to the present invention, it is possible to prepare pigments exhibiting various colors in the visible region using gold or silver nanoparticles, and a cosmetic pigment composition which can exhibit various colors by mixing the pigments in various compositional ratios, in which precipitation or agglomeration of particles does not occur, and whose color can be maintained for a long time. Also, since the pigment of the present invention is not harmful to the human body unlike conventional metal pigments, and contains gold or silver that is beneficial to health, the pigment can be used in various applications as functional raw materials.

    • The present invention relates to a water-soluble fluorescent fullerene derivative and a preparation method thereof, and more particularly to a method of preparing a fullerene derivative having excellent fluorescence in a simple manner by mixing fullerene and a ligand containing a terminal hydroxyl group in a first solvent and reacting the mixture in the presence of a catalyst, and to a water-soluble fluorescent fullerene derivative prepared by the method.According to the method of preparing a water-soluble fluorescent fullerene derivative the present invention, a fullerene derivative having strong fluorescence and hydrophilicity is prepared in a simple and easy manner. In addition, the preparation method enables the intensity and wavelength of fluorescence to be easily controlled depending on the amount of fullerene and the kind of catalyst. The prepared fluorescent fullerene derivative contains a biocompatible ligand, and thus is useful as a biological fluorescent dye. In addition, the fluorescent fullerene derivative has not only fluorescence, but also excellent solubility in a solvent, and thus is useful in the biological field, the medical field, the nanotechnology field, etc.
