    • A drill rig includes a carrier platform and a drilling unit. The drilling unit includes a support frame mounted on the carrier platform, a slider frame mounted upon and surrounding the support frame, a drilling support mechanism mounted on the slider frame, a drill portion rotatable relative to drilling support mechanism, and a means for effecting rotation of the drill portion. The support frame assumes a substantially vertical position, and the slider frame is moved along the support frame to an operative position for effecting a drilling operation. The support frame comprises two main tower beams partially covered in High-Density Polyethylene plastic, and the slider frame comprises plates positioned on the top and bottom of the tower beams, with inside and outside joiner plates encasing the sides of the support frame. These plates being covered with HDPE plastic on the surface which contacts the support frame to substantially reduce vibration.

    • A drill rig includes a carrier platform and a drilling unit carried by the carrier platform. The drilling unit includes a support frame pivotally mounted on the carrier platform, a slider frame slidably mounted upon and surrounding the support frame, a drilling support mechanism mounted on the slider frame, a drill portion rotatable relative to said drilling support mechanism, and a power means for effecting rotation of the drill portion.     • A high-pressure, flexible, self-supportive, piping assembly for use with a diffuser/nozzle (10), allowing the position of the diffuse/nozzle to be conveniently adjusted in an unlimited number of directions. The invention as defined in its preferred embodiment provides a diffuser/nozzle (10) connected to a first end of the high-pressure, flexible, self-supportive, piping assembly that is made up of a plurality of interconnected ball and socket elements (30) which creates a conduit in which a hose (40) capable of withstanding high-pressure fluids or gases is dispose therein, the said hose is functionlly connected to a fluid supply connector (50) at its second end. The assembly is encased within a plastic shrinkable tubing(60) for additional rigidity and to provide a better gripping surface.

    • In order to determine the direction and degree of bank of a motorcycle, a flywheel or other weight balanced at its center of mass is mounted on the motorcycle so that it is free to rotate about an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the motorcycle. As the vehicle banks, the flywheel will tend to maintain its position, and the angle of bank can be ascertained by measuring the direction and degree of rotation between the plane of the motorcycle and the flywheel. Measurement of flywheel rotation is obtained by means of an electromagnetic or electro-optical scanner. This device may be used to control headlight beam rotation about the beam axis, thereby keeping the horizontal cutoff of the rectangular beam cross-section parallel to the horizon at all times. Because of friction and vibration, however, the flywheel position may drift relative to the horizon, rendering the angle measurement inaccurate. Therefore it is necessary for the operator to correct for flywheel drift periodically by stopping flywheel rotation when the vehicle is upright or normal to the road surface. This driver input also resets the headlight beam to its normal position. For daytime use, the headlight beam may be locked in its normal position.

    • A device which determines the direction and amount of tilt, lean, bank, or attitude of a vehicle relative to the road surface by means of one or more sensors which measure the return time of emitted energy reflected from the road surface. Vehicle attitude information is used to move, correct, adjust, or otherwise alter preselected vehicle parts or functions according to a predetermined combination of computer paradigms and mechanical linkages. This process can be used to adjust the headlight beam orientation in order to better illuminate the forward path of the vehicle. The headlight beam may be further adjusted according to information on vehicle speed and changes thereof. The Motorcycle Headlight Aiming Device may be used to aim a camera which is mounted to a banking vehicle. Bank angle data may also be used to switch off a turn signal mechanism, and to limit engine power at extreme angles of bank. Engine power may also be limited when sensor data indicates front wheel lift-off.
