摘要： A mud flap lifting system specifically for a live bottom type trailer vehicle in which asphalt or similar is dispensed from the rear of the trailer load box for a paving operation using a paving machine in tandem with the trailer. Pneumatic lift cylinders on each side of the trailer load box are used to retract and extend cables running rearwardly from the cylinders to and through cable guides positioned vertically above the mud flaps. The cables are operable to pull or lift the lower portions of the mud flaps upwardly and outwardly into curved configurations located above a paving machine roller as it engages the rear wheels of the trailer, and at a height designed to engage the paving machine hopper as it engages the trailer.

摘要： A surgical access system for use in minimally invasive procedures such as single port or laparoscopic surgery. The system has a sealed base positionable in an incision formed in a body wall and at least two access tubes extending through the base. Each access tube includes a rigid tube having a fixed pre-formed shape including a bend in its distal section. The rigid tubes are restrained against pivotable movement relative to the base, but can be axially rotated and longitudinally repositioned relative to the base. A deflectable tubes extends from the distal end of each rigid tube. Each deflectable tube has a lumen for passage of a medical instrument, as well as a proximal actuator which engages a pullwire to deflect the tube when the user manipulates the instrument's handle.

The elongate support supports a frame that carries a pair of tool cannulas, each of which has a lumen for receiving a tool useable to perform a procedure in the body cavity. Advantageously, the plastic rifle may be more resilient to impact forces caused by the rifle being dropped (for example, not being caught after being thrown) and is less weight than a conventional wooden toy rifle. In addition, the adjustable weighting feature of the rifle allows the rifle weighting to be optimized for each individual to facilitate ease of use.

Formed in some of the side panels and some of the top panels are removable punch-out window panels. When removed, the punch-out window panels leave a top panel that defines a periphery around the “window” area. Various stacking tabs and slots are configured in the bottom panels. The stacking tabs and stacking slots are positioned such that when engaged and the containers are in a vertically stacked arrangement, the stacking tabs bias against a portion of the periphery of the top panel. When not engaged, the container has a flat bottom.

摘要： In a method for sealing an incision in an interior body wall such as a gastrotomy opening in a stomach, a closure device is positioned within the incision. The closure device includes a seal and an anchor coupled to the seal. The seal is positioned in sealing contact against a first surface of the body wall, and the anchor is positioned against the second surface of the body wall such that a portion of the closure device is positioned. The closure device seals the incision while healing takes place. Once the incision is significantly healed, the closure device bioerodes.
