    • In twin-chamber compressed gas packs, the collar of a diaphragm which invaginates during motion in the container is secured with its opening region in a fold or in the upper part of the container, in order to provide the required sealing between product chamber and working fluid chamber. The disadvantage of packs of this type is that the use of multi-part containers is mandatory and/or that a support ring incorporated in the diaphragm produces a frictional force which may be large enough to prevent ejection of the feed material because of an insufficient pressure differential between the chambers. These drawbacks are overcome by securing the entire region of the collar to the internal wall of the casing.

The sleeve-shaped parts of the silencer and, if desired, the exhaust pipe and/or the sound absorbers are made of aluminum and/or an aluminum alloy.The sleeve-shaped parts of the silencer are manufactured by impact extrusion, deep drawing or a similar method and are joined together preferably radial to their longitudinal axis. The ends these parts taper down to tube-shaped extensions which fit over the exhaust pipe.To join the sleeve-shaped parts and the tube-shaped extensions to the exhaust pipe a region is provided on which an interlocking profile is created by electromagnetic forces.

    • An aerosol dispenser can has a cylindrical body and an outwardly-concave bottom divided into an outer annular frusto-spherical part and a central dome like part by a plurality of discrete generally tangential scores spaced apart in circular configuration, the central part having a greater radius of curvature than the outer part. Generally tangential scores may also be spaced around a rolled rim at the edge of the bottom. These scores weaken the resistance of the bottom to outward deformation so that in the case of a certain internal overpressure, the bottom firstly deforms outwardly and one or more scores then gradually rip, without propagation of the ripping, to release the overpressure. The neighboring ends of adjacent scores may be arranged out of alignment with one another to prevent propagation of ripping from one score to the next.
