A microcontroller receives and analyzes the output of the impact sensor and generates a display/output message that is coupled to a display that is, for example, embodied on the golf practice mat to provide user shot-related feedback. The display may indicate, for example, the user's golf club, the estimated distance the ball will travel depending upon the impact data analyzed, the club chosen by the user, input backswing data and/or a three-dimensional simulation of the resulting golf stroke.

The business order data is stored in uniquely formatted client account files. In addition, a vesting account file stores summary data encompassing all the client files. The data processing system updates and keeps track of client's vesting rights which are subject to change over time. The data processing system's ability to track these and many other conditions is enhanced by a unique set of control status words which control software flow and which are utilized to visually flag important statuses.

摘要： A data processing system is disclosed which tracks each client's cumulative travel usage over time for the purpose of authorizing travel requests and ensuring a predetermined minimum return on an initial investment base. Such variables as frequency of use and level of service (i.e., first class, coach, etc.) are translated into cumulative cost figures which are carefully tracked and compared with a "travel ceiling." This ceiling is actually a constantly varying reference base line of maximum expanditures/usage available to the client at any given time to stay on course to achieve an expected return on the initial investment. The air travel related data is stored in uniquely formatted client account files which may be readily accessed and displayed. The data processing system's ability to track many travel related conditions is enhanced by a unique set of control status words which control software flow and which are utilized to visually flag important status conditions.

摘要： A data processing system is disclosed which manages, monitors and reports the growth of a participant's investment base with respect to progress towards achieving a predetermined target amount selected by the participant. Additionally, the data processing system monitors and controls a wide variety of financial services which are provided to the participant such as check writing and borrowing privileges as well as insurance benefits. The growth of a participant's initial as may be supplemented by monthly investments is tracked and interpreted based on criteria and projections which are periodically made and which reflect how well the account is progressing towards achieving the target amount. In this regard, the time frame that it will take for the account to reach the target amount at the current account growth rate is projected at periodic intervals, e.g., monthly. The impact on such a time frame of accentuated payments, e.g., increased monthly payments or modified cycle payments (i.e., payments made at intervals of greater than once a month), is also reported to participants. The data processing system is programmed to track actual growth realized by the account against a predetermined guaranteed minimum rate return on a participants' investment base.

摘要： This disclosure describes an apparatus for wrapping all exposed surfaces of a large annular coil, including its hollow cylindrical core, to prevent contamination and to prepare it for shipping. A pair of opposing robotic arms hand off or transfer a roll of wrapping material, such as paper or plastic, from a gripper on one arm to a gripper on the other arm. The arms travel around both ends of the coil, handing off the roll back and forth above the coil and in the center of its hollow core, as it is slowly rotated by a variable-speed coil roller. The speed of the coil roller is adjusted such that the wrap overlaps during each successive pass around the coil, thereby ensuring its sealed integrity. A compact variable-tensioning mechanism, inserted into the roll, maintains constant tension on the wrapping material to keep it taut while being pulled around the coil. The work envelope of the robotic arms traveling around the coil is adjusted to the relative height and width of each new coil to minimize wrap time and reduce wear and tear.
