The advantages are that a superabsorbent roll good can be prepared for later conversion into disposable absorbent products. 摘要： The invention features a needle and a housing having a proximal inner surface and a distal inner seat leading to and defining a lumen, wherein the needle is slidable through the housing to occupy the lumen. The housing contains and is cooperable with a valve shaped so as to sealably fit against the housing distal inner seat, the valve including a hole alignable with the lumen. When the needle slidably occupies the housing, the valve hole, and the lumen, the valve is prevented from sealably fitting against the housing distal inner seat. The housing also contains an outward biasing means biased against the valve. Upon removal of the needle from the housing, the outward biasing means urges the valve sealably against the housing distal inner seat so as to prevent flow of fluid or air through the lumen.

摘要： A multilumen catheter having a distal portion with a soft tip and reduced cross-section. The multilumen catheter of the present invention includes a flexible, elongated first catheter tube and a flexible, elongated, dual-lumen catheter tube which has a first and second lumens integrally formed and is disposed within the first catheter tube. The cross-section of the dual-lumen catheter tube is smaller than that of the first catheter tube and therefore, an independent, single lumen is defined in the space between the first catheter tube and the dual-lumen catheter tube. The dual-lumen catheter tube extends beyond the distal end of the first catheter tube thereby providing an overall reduced cross-section of the distal portion of the present multilumen catheter. Furthermore, the dual-lumen catheter tube may be formed from a softer material than that of the first cathether tube thereby providing a softer distal portion of the present multilumen catheter. A protective hub encapsulates and secures the proximal ends of the first and dual-lumen catheter tubes, and facilitates fluid communication between each of the lumens and fluid transfer devices.

The equipment is releasibly detachable from the mounting means, and the mounting apparatus itself is releasibly detachable from the bed frame to facilitate its easy use at different bed locations. The pivotal connection between the arms enables 180 degrees of movement in either of two directions between some of the arms, so that the medical equipment can be located alongside the bed frame in parallel relationship therewith. The first upright member has couplers at opposite ends of different diameters for mating receipt within pole holes of different diameters. Alternately, the effective diameter of the first member is selectively altered to fit within different sized IV pole mounting holes.

摘要： A holder for documents, such as traffic parking violation citations includes a hollow elongated housing having a small opening therein to permit a rolled-up or folded-over document to be inserted therethrough and thus into the interior of the housing away from the small opening to trap the document within the housing.
