    • A system for regulating and optimizing process conditions, such as octane number, aniline point or density of reformed hydrocarbons, by manipulating various process variables in order to control the process, both in accordance with a regulatory effect, namely, such as to cause the process to achieve and maintain the desired setpoint and setpoints for the process condition or conditions, and in accordance with an optimizing effect, namely, such as to cause the process to achieve some predetermined state defined as optimum.     • There is provided a BNC plug connector and associated method for engaging a BNC jack member and indicating a rotational position of the plug connector. The plug connector generally includes a sleeve that defines a first aperture at a first end for receiving a jack member and a second aperture at the second end. A plug member is disposed in the sleeve and configured to engage the jack member, which can be inserted through the aperture at the first end of the sleeve. A contrast surface at the second end of the sleeve defines a contrast surface such as a surface of a washer that is visible through a second aperture at the second end of the sleeve. One or more features, such as tabs, defined at the second end of the sleeve extend radially inward at the second end to a radial position that is coincident with the contrast member. Each feature defines a color that is dissimilar to the contrast surface so that the position of the feature is easily visible from the second end of the sleeve, and the rotational position of the sleeve can be determined by the feature.

    • An artificial pond reef is formed from sheet material into the shape of an inverted tub. It includes a peripheral base portion, upstanding sidewalls, and a roof. The base portion includes a horizontal flange extending out from the sidewalls. The sidewalls extend up to support the roof and include apertures for movement of fish and the like through the reef. The reef includes small holes for the growth of flora therethrough. The roof is configured to support and retain decorative enhancements (pebbles, sand, plants). The base, sidewalls, roof are surface-shaped and contoured to give the reef an appearance of natural rock formation. The reef is dark or black to promote bacteria growth upon it, and has a matte surface for bacteria to adhere to. The roof includes an opening to receive a removable receptacle for decorative enhancements.

    • A telecommunication network cross-connect panel 10 is described having a chassis 14 for receiving insertable modules 12, 212. The chassis 14 has a back wall 24 with a backplane printed circuit board 34. An array of rear coaxial connectors are mounted to the backplane printed circuit board 34 in columns of four connectors 36, 38, 40 and 42 for terminating and cross-connecting two pieces of telecommunication equipment per column.     • Methods and systems for developing a dental bridge through computer-aided design are shown and described. With reference to an image of the volume to fill with the bridge, a proposed dental bridge is shaped to fit between teeth adjacent to the volume to fill while being contoured to a profile line specifying the gum contour and the contour of surfaces of the adjacent teeth to be bonded. Retainers of the proposed bridge are shaped and positioned to abut the adjacent teeth. The data specifying the proposed bridge may be delivered to a milling machine where a blank is milled into the corresponding bridge. The bridge may then be installed by bonding the retainers to the adjacent teeth.
