摘要： This sock is particularly adapted for wear with western type boots and includes an upper leg portion knit with stretchable yarn having wear-resistant characteristics and a lower leg portion knit with nonstretchable yarn having moisture wicking characteristics. Elastic yarn is incorporated in predetermined repeating courses throughout the entire leg and cooperates with the stretchable yarn in the upper leg portion to provide resiliency for firmly supporting the leg of the sock on the leg of the wearer and cooperates with the moisture wicking characteristics of the yarn in the lower leg portion to remove moisture from the leg of the wearer. The upper and lower leg portions are of substantially the same length and are joined together at substantially the medial portion of the enlarged calf area of the leg of the wearer so that the upper edge of the western boot engages the upper wear-resistant portion of the leg of the sock.

摘要： A plurality of packages of socks is displayed on elongate hanger elements by the present display board. A sock package retaining rail is connected at opposite ends to opposite side portions of the display board and the medial portion extends across and confines the sock packages within the retaining rail. The retaining rail is of a sufficient width to support advertising material thereon and is sufficiently narrow that the upper and lower portions of the sock packages are exposed to view by prospective purchasers. The sock package retaining rail confines the sock packages and protects the same from being dislodged or accidentally removed from the hanger elements. The display board is fabricated in such a manner that it may be economically shipped in a knock-down condition and can be quickly and easily assembled at the location where it is to be used.

摘要： This tube sock includes a cushioned sole formed by partial courses of terry loops on the inner surface of at least that part of the foot portion adapted to underlie the sole of a wearer's foot while that part of the foot portion adapted to overlie the instep of the wearer's foot is devoid of terry loops. Indicia means is provided on the outer surface of the foot portion for indicating the proper manner in which the tube sock should be worn to position the terry loops beneath the sole of the wearer's foot. The indicia means may take the form of an identifying yarn contrasting in color with the color of the body yarn of the sock and knit in plated relationship with the body yarn to appear on the outer surface of the sock in spaced-apart coursewise extending stripes which extend from one side to the other of the sole portion.
