摘要： A container for holding and dispensing small articles such as candies, pills and the like is formed from a single die cut blank. The container has an opening in its front wall and a slide is movable vertically behind the front wall to alternataly open or close the opening. The upper end of the slide is attached to one of the hinged top flaps of the container during assembly to enable the slide to be operated by raising or lowering the top flap. The slide portion is attached to the blank by one or more small, rupturable connections which serve to seal the box in a closed position until it is ready for use. The slide embodies an improved construction which retains the slide in place in proximity to the inner surface of the front wall of the box, during its full range of movement.

摘要： An end-loading reinforced mailing or shipping box is formed from a single blank of sheet material and includes integral extensions which are wrapped about the box to define a surrounding protective shipping wrapper. The box may be of the top-opening variety. The protective wrapper includes end flaps which provide additional reinforcement at the ends of the package. Assembly of the integral box and wrapper requires only one straight line gluing operation by the box manufacturer and only one folding and gluing operation by the packager who receives the box and wrapper in a partly folded and glued condition. The packager end loads the products or articles into the open ended package and then needs only to fold and glue the end flaps. No right angle or timed folding or gluing operations are required. The package includes tear strips which facilitate opening a wall of the wrapper and permit the inner box to be removed. Thereafter, the box-like wrapper may be used as a protective storage box for the inner box.

Furthermore, each counter-rotating cam defines a cam profile surface having drive and follower surfaces defining angles α and β respectively. The angles α and β are unequal to drive each cam and respective output drive shaft in an opposite rotational direction. As such, the cams may be driven in opposite directions irrespective the initial rotational position of the linear input, i.e., relative to each counter-rotating cam.
