摘要： A controller for a thermo-electric cooler is disclosed. The controller comprises a current source for providing current for driving the thermo-electric cooler and a plurality of voltage supply connections for providing a plurality of different voltages for driving current controlled by the current source through the thermo-electric cooler. Voltage selection circuitry is provided for selecting a voltage from the plurality of different voltages, when connected, and for applying the voltage selected to the thermo-electric cooler. When selecting the voltage from the plurality of different voltages, the voltage selection circuitry is configured to select the voltage that, when compared to the other voltages of the plurality of voltages, minimises a potential difference across the current source.

摘要： A controller for a thermo-electric cooler is disclosed. Additionally, the first body is capable of slidably moving along the ring assembly along the lateral axis relative to the second body, and the first body is further capable of rotatably moving about the ring assembly relative to the second body while maintaining electrical communication with the second body.

摘要： Methods and apparatuses presented herein control antenna connectivity for a wireless communication device as a function of rotation of a connector assembly plugged into the device, such as where an external antenna or cable includes the connector assembly. Assuming the device has a mating connector for the external antenna that changes the connections of internal and external antennas as a function of the connector mating depth, the method comprises configuring the wireless communication device and/or the external antenna with a mechanical feature that changes the mating depth between the device's and the antenna's mating connectors responsive to external antenna rotation. In one embodiment, a body portion of the external antenna retains the mating connector and includes a cam feature or other mechanical feature that engages an edge or surface of the device as the antenna is rotated, thereby pushing the antenna out from the device.

摘要： Disclosed is a method and circuit for dissipating injected parasitic charge including a circuit stage, a pulse generating circuit and a switch. The circuit stage having an input node and an output node that injects a parasitic charge when switched OFF to the output node. The pulse generating circuit can generate a pulsed signal having an input for receiving a control signal. The control signal indicates the circuit stage is switching OFF, and has an output for outputting a pulsed signal in response to the control signal at the input. The pulsed signal can have a predetermined duration. The switch can be configured to be actuated by the pulsed signal output by the pulse generating circuit, and having a terminal connected to the output node of the circuit stage and a terminal connected to circuit to substantially dissipate the injected parasitic charge.

摘要： A Universal Serial Bus (USB) modem device includes a body member and a flip member. The flip member includes an antenna element and is rotatably coupled to the body member for movement about a hinge axis between a closed position and an open position. A USB connector is movably mounted in the body member for movement between an extended position and a retracted position relative to the body member. A linkage mechanism in the body member couples the flip member and the USB connector so that movement of the flip member between the open position and the closed position moves the USB connector between the extended position and the retracted position.
