摘要： A clasp assembly of the type designed to lockingly secure a cover element to some type of body, housing or support platform wherein the clasp assembly includes a hinge plate having an angularly oriented configuration so as to substantially conform to the outer configuration of the mated lid and support platform. A hinge assembly is structurally defined by cooperating elements of both the hinge plate and the base of the hinge assembly to which it is attached. The hinge assembly comprises a pivot pin interconnected to both the base portion and the hinge plate to define a movable interconnection therebetween wherein the base portion is secured to the support platform.
