摘要： The disclosure herein provides repositionable medical instrument support systems, devices, and methods. A repositionable medical instrument support system comprises a frame for rigidly connecting the system to a patient support, a ball and socket joint configured to provide three degrees of rotational freedom, a frame mounting arm configured to releasably mount the ball and socket joint to the frame, a sliding joint configured to provide one degree of translational freedom, a connecting arm configured to connect the sliding joint to the ball and socket joint, and a docking member configured to engage a medical instrument to support the medical instrument during a medical procedure.

摘要： An insert 30 comprises a rod 32 having a proximal end 34 and a distal end 36. The insert 30 also comprises a tool 38 which is demountably coupled to the distal end 36. Proximal end 34 is formed with a ball 40 which is configured to seat and engage in a socket of a handle 12 of a laparoscopic instrument 10. The rod 32 fits within a sheath 14 of the laparoscopic instrument 10. The distal end 36 of the rod 32 is provided with an attachment head 42 to facilitate the attachment of the tool 38. A linkage mechanism 44 in the attachment head 42 converts the linear motion of the insert 30 (and in particular rod 32) relative to the outer sheath 14 to a pivotal motion.

摘要： An insert 30 comprises a rod 32 having a proximal end 34 and a distal end 36. The insert 30 also comprises a tool 38 which is demountably coupled to the distal end 36. 摘要： A general uterine manipulator 10 incorporates an elongated hollow tube 12 defining an internal passage 14. Tube 12 has opposite first and second ends 16 and 18, formed with internal threads T1 and T2; and a smooth continuous outer surface 20 of constant outer diameter. A first fitting comprising a tail screw 22 is screwed into thread T1 and a second fitting cervical screw 24 is screwed in thread T2. An inner manipulator rod 26 extends through the first fitting 22, tube 12, and second fitting 24. A range of alternate first and second fitting is provided. A forceps holder 70 is attachable to the tube 12 between ends 16 and 18. The manipulator 10 may also support a cervical funnel 90 and a plug 92.
