    • An electromechanical combination lock is provided. It comprises a rotating handle assembly, a locking assembly, an electric actuator and a control mechanism. The locking assembly comprises an actuation device and has an unlocked state thereof in which said handled assembly is rotationally coupled to said actuation device for imparting an opening or closing operation through rotation of the handle and has also a locked state in which said handle assembly is rotationally uncoupled from said actuation device. The electric actuator is operatively associated with the locking assembly for switching the locking assembly between the locked and the unlocked states while in corresponding first and second operational modes of the electric actuator. The control mechanism serves for causing the electric actuator to switch between the two operational modes, and is associated with the rotating handle assembly. The control mechanism comprises one or more sensors for sensing rotational state of the handle assembly, an array of light sources disposed at different circumferential positions of the handle, and control circuitry that is adapted for causing one or more light sources to light at defined rotational states of the handle assembly. The switching into the unlocked state of the locking assembly is encoded in a sequence of the rotational states of the handle assembly, each of which states being indicated by a defined pattern of one or more lighted light source.

    • An electromechanical lock is provided that comprises a locking assembly and a latch solenoid with a plunger axially displaceable, by an electrical command signal, between retracted and extended states and being associated with a first urging arrangement that biases the plunger in a first axial direction from the retracted to the extended states. The locking assembly comprises a lock actuation member movable between first and second states for locking and unlocking the lock, respectively. A second urging arrangement is operative to bias the actuation member to move to the second state. A third urging arrangement is operative to bias the actuation member to move from the second to the first state. The plunger is operatively associated with the locking assembly to cause the lock actuation member to move from the first to the second state for unlocking the lock upon displacement of the plunger in the first direction, and to permit movement of the actuation member, induced by the third urging arrangement, from the second to the first state for locking the lock, upon displacement of the plunger from the extended to the retraced state.

    • A mechanism for an electro-mechanical lock. The mechanism comprises a shackle or strike moveable in a bore. A cam is rotatable between a first cam position in which movement of the shackle or strike in the bore is prevented and a second cam position in which movement of the shackle or strike in the bore is not prevented. A blocking pin is moveable between a first pin position in which rotation of the cam is prevented and a second position in which rotation of the cam is not prevented. A solenoid has a plunger having a stable extended position in which movement of the blocking pin is prevented and a stable retracted position in which movement of the blocking pin is not prevented.

    • A combination lock is provided having a housing with a lock dial shaft rotatably mounted thereto. A lock bolt is slidably mounted to the housing, and a fence lever is pivotally coupled to the lock bolt. A tension spring constantly urges the fence lever into an operative, lock bolt displacing position thereof. An assembly of gated tumbler wheels is rotatable by the lock dial shaft and a slotted disc is mounted on a tumbler wheels assembly. The fence lever is adapted to close against the gated tumbler wheels when in alignment and thereby enabling the displacement of the lock bolt by the fence lever. A displaceable spring cam plate is coupled to a cam disc associated with the slotted disc so that, on every revolution of the cam disc, the plate becomes displaced a short distance. A second spring coupled between the fence lever and the cam plate is effective in the non-displaced position of the plate to restrain the pivoted movement of the fence lever under the tension of its spring. In the displaced position of the plate, the fence lever is allowed to pivot into the operative position thereof.
