    • An optical pickup angle adjusting mechanism of a beam angle adjusting structure consists of an external screw member and an internal screw part, while the external screw member is formed by integrating a flange engaging part engaging with a chassis to hold the edge of the chassis with two flanges, an external screw portion and a cylindrical press-fit part located between the flange engaging part and the external screw portion and the internal screw part includes a nut fixed to a pickup support part and a press-fit hole formed in the pickup support part coaxially with the nut for receiving the press-fit part in a close contact manner. Thus, a disk drive and a beam angle adjusting structure preventing adjusting screws from jolts can be obtained without increasing the number of components.

    • A tray drive mechanism has a simple structure, and yet both an optical disc clamping operation and a tray opening and closing operation can be driven by one feed motor.The tray drive mechanism comprises: a feed gear and a tray drive gear that are rotated by a feed motor; a rack member to mesh with the feed gear so as to be driven in direction to inner circumference of the optical disc; a plate trigger driven by the rack member so as to slide; and a cam slider to slide in linkage with the plate trigger. When the cam slider is slided in linkage with plate trigger so as to be driven in direction by the tray drive gear meshing with a rack, a boss of the cam slider pushes a slope portion of each of cam grooves and provided in a tray, so that the tray slides to cause a rack of the tray to mesh with the tray drive gear. Thus, the tray is opened and closed by the feed motor.

    • A disk player includes: a housing; a motor disposed in the housing; a disk tray having a projecting piece at a rear end on each side edge thereof; and dislocation preventive pieces disposed at a front end side of the housing and projecting from the housing so as to respectively face the projecting pieces. An elastic plate and a stopper surface adapted to face a distal end of the elastic plate are formed on each of the projecting pieces and each of the dislocation preventive pieces or either on each of the projecting pieces or each of the dislocation preventive pieces. When the tray is moved forward, the elastic plate is brought into contact with the projecting piece or the dislocation preventive piece and is displaced elastically to thereby apply the brakes to stop the disk tray that is moving forward.

    • A loader chassis is provided with a tray-out switch and a switch lever which is configured to operate the tray-out switch. A disk tray is mounted in the loader chassis in a movable manner between a mounted position and a ejected position in a moving direction and formed with a switch rib which has a first slope surface. The first slope surface has a concave curve shape with respect to the moving direction. When the disk tray is being ejected toward the ejected position, the first slope surface of the switch rib pushes the switch lever so that the switch lever operates the tray-out switch, thereby stopping a voltage supply to a drive motor of the disk tray.
